Permanent Washington put a bullseye on Donald Trump’s back with D.C. elites signaling they’d pay any price to exploit lawfare and take him down.

The extent of the perversion of America’s justice system still hasn’t been exposed.

And now Trump’s attorney Alina Habba has flipped after an insane verdict, and this shocking secret came out.

Democrats have stooped to jaw-dropping tactics in order to destroy Donald Trump.

They temporarily changed the law in New York to allow victims of sexual assault to file civil lawsuits against their alleged attackers with no statute of limitations.

That allowed former gossip columnist E. Jean Carroll to sue Trump for sexual assault based on an alleged encounter that happened in a department store sometime in the mid-1990s.

Despite a lack of key details, Carroll’s suit was successful thanks to a rabidly anti-Trump jury pool in New York.

After the verdict, Trump called Carroll a liar and said he had never met her.

That caused Carroll to sue him for defamation, and a jury again ruled in her favor, granting her $83 million in damages.

Trump’s attorneys are appealing the outlandish verdict, and they might have compelling grounds.

Trump’s attorney revealed a shocking undisclosed connection

Presiding Judge Lewis Kaplan allegedly had a conflict of interest that was not disclosed; Kaplan had previously mentored Carroll’s attorney Roberta Kaplan (no relation).

Lewis Kaplan was a partner at the white-shoe law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison when Roberta Kaplan was a junior associate.

Trump’s attorney Alina Habba explained, “It was never disclosed. It’s insane and so incestuous…This is news to us…We are going to include this in our appeal and take appropriate measures. The fact it wasn’t disclosed is an ethics violation.”

A spokesperson for Roberta Kaplan downplayed the connection, explaining in a statement, “They overlapped for less than two years in the early 1990s at a large law firm when he was a senior partner and she was a junior associate and she never worked for him.”

However, a former partner at the firm told the New York Post that “Lew was like her mentor.”

Needless to say, Trump was none too pleased with the verdict.

He wrote on Truth Social, “Absolutely ridiculous! … I fully disagree with both verdicts and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party. Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon.”

Based on the flimsy indictments and lawsuits against Trump in multiple jurisdictions, the lawfare certainly looks orchestrated.
