Big Tech firms have become tools of the globalists.
America’s culture of civil rights is not respected around the world.
And this Bill Gates-linked Silicon Valley firm took a massive step to show Communist China its loyalty.
Microsoft-owned networking company LinkedIn is enforcing dangerous censorship at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party.
Axios reporter Bethany Allen-Ebrahimian has written extensively about human rights abuses in China, including reporting about concentration camps in Xinjiang Province.
Now, Allen-Ebrahimian’s LinkedIn account is being blocked in China.
I woke up this morning to discover that LinkedIn had blocked my profile in China.
I used to have to wait for Chinese govt censors, or censors employed by Chinese companies in China, to do this kind of thing.
Now a US company is paying its own employees to censor Americans. pic.twitter.com/eRTq4u8rJl

This isn’t the first time that China flexed its muscle to influence American companies.
The NBA scolded former Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey for tweeting support for pro-freedom activists in Hong Kong, while several NBA bigwigs including LeBron James chastised Morey for defying the CCP.
Hollywood altered movies to placate the Chinese. In fact, the upcoming Top Gun sequel digitally removed Taiwanese and Japanese patches from the back of Tom Cruise’s character’s iconic bomber jacket.
Allen-Ebrahimian’s Axios colleague Jonathan Swan also commented on the muzzle slapped in place by LinkedIn, tweeting:
“US company LinkedIn now works as a censor on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, blocking my Axios colleague’s profile because of her critical reporting on the CCP. You should follow Bethany. She is a diligent, ethical reporter and we are lucky to have her at Axios.”
Companies like China don’t care about free speech.
In fact, they go out of their way to curtail it.
Big Tech has memory-holed the atrocities of Mao Zedong and the CCP such as the Tiananmen Square massacre of 1989 almost completely.
These globalist, stateless megacorporations have no allegiance to the United States.
Their business relationships with China are arguably more lucrative, so China gets to impose its authoritarian culture on Americans.
