Elon Musk has proven to be a major disruptor at Twitter.
The Left are already revolting as they have lost control of their favorite propaganda platform.
But now the Biden administration is claiming an alarming new authority after Elon Musk brought this one rabid leftist to tears.
Elon Musk actually followed through with his plan to buy Twitter for $44 billion and take the company private.
Musk’s goal was to restore free speech on the platform, which tellingly infuriated the Left.
Prior to Musk’s arrival, authoritarian leftists were in charge of content moderation.
In fact, former Twitter attorney Vijaya Gadde, who was the head of the “moderation, trust and safety team,” routinely met with the federal government regarding censorship aims.
Gadde was among the first old-guard Twitter employees fired when Musk took over and she reportedly left in tears.
Liberals blew a top when one Twitter employee quit
Musk retained Yoel Roth, an outspoken leftist, to lead content moderation, causing confusion among people on the Right as well as counter-narrative liberals.
But Roth just quit, causing a firestorm among leftists.
Now the Biden administration is seizing on Roth’s resignation as the excuse for Joe Biden’s goons at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to open an investigation into Musk.
The Washington Post reported that “several top executives resigned from Twitter…some of whom cited fears over the risks from Elon Musk’s leadership in a stunning exodus that prompted federal regulators to warn they might step in. One of the most surprising was the company’s head of moderation and safety, Yoel Roth, who had become the public face of the company’s efforts to reassure users and advertisers that Twitter would not descend into a ‘free-for-all.’”
There has been a concerted effort by the Left to torpedo Twitter now that Musk is in charge.
Leftists inside and outside the company quickly began leaning on advertisers to pull out. Many have done so.
While the company is reportedly currently facing a tenuous financial position following those dings, Musk has more than enough capital to keep it afloat during the transition.
And despite celebrities leaving the platform and encouraging others to do so, Twitter has reportedly also seen user numbers skyrocket in recent days.
The Left can’t have a major platform that they do not fully control.

The Post added that “the privacy departures prompted a rare warning from the Federal Trade Commission, which has emerged as the government’s top Silicon Valley watchdog. It marked the second time in two days that a federal official has expressed concern about the chaotic developments at the company, coming less than 24 hours after President Biden said Musk’s relationships with other countries deserved scrutiny. The agency said that it was ‘tracking the developments at Twitter with deep concern’ and that it was prepared to take action to ensure the company was complying with a settlement known as a consent order, which requires Twitter to comply with certain privacy and security requirements because of allegations of past data misuse.”
Biden is itching to get a piece of Musk.
And considering how he’s weaponized the Department of Justice and unleashed Attorney General Merrick Garland to go after his political opponents, it looks increasingly like he’ll use the FTC to mire Musk in endless investigations.
