The Department of Justice is completely out of control.
People within the Deep State proved to be bad actors during the Trump era.
And Merrick Garland is sweating bullets over this new sex scandal within the FBI.
Ever since 2016, countless institutions destroyed their credibility in pursuit of destroying Donald Trump.
The FBI badly damaged its shaky reputation after participating in a Hillary Clinton-backed soft coup against Trump.
Among several improprieties, an FBI lawyer lied to the FISA court in order to surveil Trump.
Now the FBI has to deal with a sex scandal.
Chuck Grassley is demanding answers
Senator Chuck Grassley wants answers regarding alleged sexual misconduct within the bureau.
Grassley’s official Senate website reported that the senator “released internal FBI reports detailing its sordid response to sexual misconduct by FBI employees. The previously-undisclosed records, provided to Grassley by a whistleblower, accompany a letter Grassley sent to the Justice Department Inspector General, seeking an immediate review of the Justice Department’s and FBI’s management of sexual misconduct claims. Grassley first raised concerns about the internal memos in October. Though the FBI said in news reports that it would respond directly to Grassley’s inquiry, it has failed to do so. Grassley is now calling on the agency watchdog to conduct a full investigation.”
During the Trump presidency, the DOJ Inspector General found many problems and specifically called out disgraced former acting director Andrew McCabe for malfeasance.
Senator Grassley wrote in a statement, “FBI employees should not have to suffer under daily abuse and misconduct by their colleagues and supervisors. Accordingly, I am requesting that you immediately open a review of the Justice Department’s and FBI’s management of sexual misconduct claims, including how many employees who separated from federal service before the resolution of an investigation received the required notice in their personnel file, the apparent failure to ensure the Javelin database includes full and complete data, and the unequal application of disciplinary rules.”
Legacy institutions have done considerable damage to their brand in service to establishment elites.
The FBI no longer receives the benefit of the doubt.
For example, the FBI botched a case involving a plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Twelve out of the 26 conspirators were feds; agents literally planned the entire thing, but some of the targets of the “investigation” had misgivings.
Recently, Attorney General Merrick Garland unleashed the FBI to raid Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.
Never before has a former president’s home been raided.
Initial reports suggested Trump was selling nuclear secrets, but that report also turned out to be a nothing-burger.
