The final days of October have both parties scrambling ahead of Election Day.
The lawyers don’t usually come out so soon though.
But the Republican National Committee was left with no other choice but heading to court over this Midterms game changer.
The RNC put three words at the center of a major lawsuit to end one huge Democrat advantage
When it comes to threats to America and free speech, few are as daunting as the damage wrought from the collusion between the Democrat Party, government officials and Big Tech. Major tech companies have become the arbiters of truth, actively suppressing it at the behest of political allies and government officials.
And now, the Republican National Committee is alleging search and email giant Google did the unthinkable to sideline GOP candidates ahead of the 2022 Midterms.
Big Tech companies have immense power in today’s America, especially when it comes to free speech and deciding who even gets to speak.
It is no secret that many of these major tech companies have targeted conservatives for years, but what tech giant Google is being accused of is despicable.
According to the Republican National Committee, Google suppressed their email communications over a 10-month period, particularly during critical “end of month” fundraising periods.
“The timing of Google’s most egregious filtering is particularly damning,” the RNC complaint filed on October 21 states.
The RNC alleges “that Google had filtered millions of the organization’s fundraising and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) emails to the spam folders of potential donors and supporters, trashing the communications at pivotal moments during election fundraising to do the most damage,” The Epoch Times reported.
According to the RNC “Google’s conduct has caused the RNC to lose its ability to communicate voting information and other political messaging to its supporters during the critical Midterm elections.”
“Enough is enough – we are suing Google for their blatant bias against Republicans. For ten months in a row, Google has sent crucial end-of-month Republican GOTV and fundraising emails to spam with zero explanation,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a press release.
Google has avidly denied these claims and the lawsuit in general.
If these allegations from the RNC are true, that Google purposefully suppressed RNC communications, then there should be hell to pay in court.
The RNC has the potential to win millions and millions from the lawsuit, however, no amount of money can really fix the damage caused by this email problem.
Why Big Tech interference must be investigated
It’s long been suspected that Google purposefully deprioritized Republican and conservative groups’ emails.
But according to the RNC, those suspicions were confirmed earlier this year with “the publication of a non-partisan study which found that Gmail, Google’s email platform, routed Republican emails to ‘spam’ at a rate approximately 820% higher than similar Democrat emails during the 2020 Election cycle.”
It should come as a surprise to no one if Google, as a company run by a far-Left management, has been meddling in politics, however, this is a new low.
If the courts rule in favor of the RNC then this vindicates years of accusations against the platform, and other platforms like Facebook and Twitter will need to take note.
Facebook, which effectively censors any content that does line up with the extreme far-Left’s worldview.
The American people deserve better, and that begins with users avoiding notoriously leftist platforms.
