The New York Post was the victim of an ugly political hitjob in 2020.
The paper broke the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” story, but it was spiked by the press and Big Tech.
Now the Post just got targeted with one disturbing attack.
In 2020, the New York Post, the oldest newspaper in the country, got ignored for publishing the Hunter Biden laptop story, which was real news.
Disgruntled New York Post employee put out fraudulent headlines
Now the Post is getting hammered for putting out obviously fake news.
A disgruntled employee at the New York Post gained access to the paper’s publishing system and posted despicable stories that were clearly fake.
The Wall Street Journal reported that “an employee accessed the New York Post’s publishing system, posting unauthorized, fake content to the news outlet’s website and Twitter account Thursday morning. A Post spokeswoman said an employee was responsible for the unauthorized activity, adding that the employee has been terminated. ‘We’ve since taken down the vile and reprehensible content posted,’ she said in an emailed statement. Tweets that appeared to come from the Post included fake quotes with crude language from New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin and GOP Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas. Some of the quotes were directed at New York Democrats, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Gov. Kathy Hochul.”
The fraudulent headline about New York Governor Kathy Hochul read, “Zeldin: I will rape and batter Hochul’s sorry ass p*ssy.”
Hochul spox refuses to acknowledge headlines were a fraud attack
The headline was obviously bogus, but that didn’t stop Hochul spokeswoman Jen Goodman from writing, “The New York Post has long fostered an ugly, toxic conversation on their front pages and social accounts, but these posts are more disgusting and vile than usual. The New York Post needs to immediately explain how this reprehensible content was made public. While the Post had made its preferences very clear in the New York Governor’s race, there is no room for this violent, sexist rhetoric in our politics. We demand answers.”
If only Democrats were this vigilant about the Hunter Biden laptop story that was proven to be true.
Another fake headline attributed an op-ed to conservative commentator Ben Shapiro that read, “We must assassinate AOC for America.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott was hit with a bogus headline that read, “I will order Border Patrol to start slaughtering illegals.”
It took the Democrats and their media allies almost a year and a half to acknowledge the Hunter Biden laptop story, but fake news got their attention immediately because it was useful.
