The feds’ ties to Twitter were far worse than anyone could have imagined

Elon Musk has flipped over the chessboard.

Establishment journalists are scrambling to make sense of the Twitter Files leaks exposing corruption.

And the feds’ ties to Twitter were far worse than anyone could have imagined.

Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter for $44 billion has been a major disruptor for the political and journalistic establishment.

One of Musk’s most important acts was to release the Twitter Files, dispatches detailing behind-the-scenes malfeasance that took place under the old company regime.

Former Rolling Stone journalist Matt Taibbi released the first dispatch, and he was immediately pilloried by the left-wing media establishment.

Taibbi is a liberal who was once celebrated by everyone on the Left, but he got cross with the left-wing establishment when he refused to go along with the Russiagate Hoax.

During the 2016 campaign, Taibbi believed that Donald Trump was an existential threat to the country, but a couple of years into the Trump administration, he acknowledged that the “permanent coup” against Trump was the actual true danger.

Left-wing hack journalists like Wajahat Ali and many others parroted the talking point that Taibbi was “doing PR for the world’s richest man” by disclosing the leaks.

But as the leaks get more damning, the sad talking points are falling apart.

CENTCOM used Twitter in PsyWar psychological operations

Leftist journalist Lee Fang of The Intercept dropped the latest leak, and he revealed that Twitter was allowing the government to run psyops (psychological operations) in foreign countries.

Fang wrote that “Twitter gave approval & special protection to the U.S. military’s online psychological influence ops…Despite knowledge that Pentagon propaganda accounts used covert identities, Twitter did not suspend many for around 2 years or more. Some remain active…In 2017, a U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) official sent Twitter a list of 52 Arab language accounts ‘we use to amplify certain messages.’ The official asked for priority service for six accounts, verification for one & ‘whitelist’ abilities for the others.”

So Twitter was facilitating military psyops in other countries, which raises the question: were the feds doing the same thing in America?

Based on everything that’s happened since Trump’s election in 2016, it’s a safe bet that, yes, the government was running psyops on American citizens with the help of Big Tech.

So the government has been using AI-generated deep fake accounts to run psyops.

That’s not too surprising considering this chilling “Ghosts in the Machine” US Army’s 4th PSYOP Group openly posted earlier in 2022.

And whether it’s the establishment desperately wanting Trump out of office, so-called “color revelations” to overthrow foreign governments, or turning the Deep State’s surveillance goliath against Conservatives under the guise of a so-called war on domestic extremism, using Big Tech to achieve their goal is not a large leap of logic.
