The billionaire globalists teaming up for one new Soros-backed tech project that will terrify you

The establishment wants to use technology to regain total control over Americans’ lives.

That power slipped during Donald Trump’s presidency.

And the billionaire globalists teaming up for a Soros-backed tech project that will terrify you.

George Soros and Reid Hoffman are investing in a project to solve the issue of “disinformation.”

That’s why they’re dumping millions into the hands of a known propagandist.

From The Epoch Times:

“Billionaires Reid Hoffman and George Soros are backing a public benefit corporation that will provide funding to new media companies aimed at tackling disinformation online and restoring social trust. Good Information Inc. launched on Tuesday and is being led by former Democratic strategist Tara McGowan who previously ran a progressive non-profit called ACRONYM, which was backed by LinkedIn founder Hoffman. Others contributing to the multi-million seed effort include investors Ken and Jen Duda, and Incite Ventures.”

McGowan made waves in 2019 when she launched Courier Newsroom, whose goal was to create fake local news sites to trick voters in swing states into thinking they were reading local news.

In reality, they were reading centrally controlled news written by progressive activists.

Courier Newsroom has been acquired by Good Information in this newly announced deal, so the old scam is simply being supercharged by Soros and Bilderberg Group denizen Reid Hoffman.

The Epoch Times continued:

“The company said that an ‘increasingly decentralized media environment, anti-democracy forces, and networks of bad actors’ have resulted in ‘dangerous consequences,’ noting that 96 million Americans believe the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump, while 89 million Americans believe voter fraud is a major problem.”

That press release gives up the game.

Progressives are concerned about a “decentralized media environment” where their ideas can be challenged.

They’re attempting to recentralize the media by giving people the illusion of choice beyond legacy media.

That was the entire point of Courier Newsroom, which was lauded by The New York Times even though it was clearly deceptive.

Legacy media has a serious credibility problem.

Their monopoly on information has eroded, and people are seeking content elsewhere.

The Left are attempting to use big tech to rein in public discourse through censorship, but there’s only so much social media companies can do.

This new venture by Soros, Hoffman, and McGowan is a desperate attempt to steer people back toward leftist groupthink.

The threat of “disinformation” has become their rallying cry and justification for censorship and control.

But once people have unplugged from the Matrix, they don’t plug back in.
