One Joe Biden nominee is like a bent penny.
No matter how many times her nomination is shot down, she keeps coming back.
But Ted Cruz dropped a damning video about her past he says should seal her fate.
GiGi Sohn is once again back up for consideration as Joe Biden’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) nominee.
While the FCC is part of the federal bureaucracy most Americans don’t give much thought, they wield god-like power over communication systems in the United States.
In past decades, they completely disrupted the television news industry by forcing stations into making unnecessary expensive upgrades that helped push control out of small local station owners’ hands who ultimately sold out to huge national companies.

That’s why conservatives, including Senator Ted Cruz, are sounding alarm bells over Joe Biden’s third attempt to get Gigi Sohn appointed to the FCC.
“Biden Nominee for FCC Commissioner Gigi Sohn has a history of spewing anti-police rhetoric,” Cruz tweeted along with a video. “Her long record of poor judgement should seal her fate.”
The video highlighted Sohn’s efforts to help push the Defund the Police campaigns in 2020.

In November of that year she claimed that “the whole ‘progressivism is bad’ argument just doesn’t have any compelling evidence that I’ve seen.”
“When it comes to ‘Defund’ & ‘Socialism’ attacks, people need to realize these are racial resentment attacks. You’re not gonna make that go away. You can make it less effective.”
On a separate occasion Sohn retweeted a post referring to police as “armed goons in riot gear.”
Not only is the Biden nominee in league with the woke “Defund the Police” crowd, she has concrete ideas to implement a comprehensive censorship plan using a powerful federal agency that already has enforcement mechanisms in place.
Back in 2020 Sohn called for the United States to create a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission”—patterned after a South Africa Apartheid era concept.
“We need to have a real conversation about race relations in this country, about differences and how we bridge the gap,” Sohn claimed during an appearance on Elevate Maryland in June. She insisted during the podcast that “We’ve lost what is true in this country, about everything. I mean, the fact that there is still significant numbers of people that won’t wear a god**** mask in a public place is unbelievable to me.”
“And that’s because this president—and it started before him so I’m happy to keep blame on him but it started before him—but there is one party that does not care about the truth,” she added. “And I think that’s the first thing that if—God willing—Joe Biden gets elected, he needs to have a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and people have to come and speak and talk about their experience of what is true and what is not.”
The fact that Biden continues to attempt giving Sohn a powerful position inside the federal government attests to the Biden regime’s commitment to high-level comprehensive censorship.
The FCC already has a decades old system in place to prohibit “obscene, indecent, and profane content from being broadcast on the radio or TV.”
According to the FCC, profane content “includes ‘grossly offensive’ language that is considered a public nuisance.”
No doubt, with Sohn in charge that definition would quickly expand to shut down any sort of political speech leftists find inconvenient.
Currently, violating the FCC’s guidelines regarding “obscene, indecent, or profane” content on a television or radio station can get the speaker tossed in jail for up to two years.
