Democrats are allowed to get away with just about anything.
But sometimes they cross a line that cannot be ignored.
And a socialist Congressman got charged with a crime after one ridiculous stunt.
New York Congressman Jamaal Bowman, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
In order to delay a vote, Bowman intentionally pulled a fire alarm, which is a crime.
And the Washington, D.C. Superior Court issued a summons to Bowman for “willfully and knowingly giving a false alarm of fire.”

Did someone say Shenanigans?
When the initial incident happened, Bowman lied.
He said he accidentally pulled the alarm because he thought it would open the building exit.
Bowman wrote in a statement, “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused…But I want to be very clear: this was not me, in any way, trying to delay any vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote.”
But that was not true.
Video showed Bowman not only pulling the fire alarm but yanking down signs warning people not to use the exit.
Bowman pulled down the signs and walked away without even pausing to see if the door opened, which contradicted the lie that he was simply in a hurry to get out of the building.

Perhaps even more ridiculous than Bowman’s lie, was the fact that the Democrat-controlled media made absurd excuses for him.
Sunny Hostin of The View floated the conspiracy theory that the doors were mysteriously locked.
She said, “I don’t want to call it a stunt yet. There’s going to be an investigation. I know Jamaal, and so again, I’m a little biased, but the doors that are normally open so that he could get to the chambers to read were somehow miraculously closed. How did that happen? And so, yes. Sometimes you’re freaking out and you’re in an elevator and you’re pressing all the buttons!”

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene immediately called shenanigans.
After touring the building with a camera to expose the nonsensical claim made by Bowman, she said that Bowman “knew he was pulling a fire alarm because he’s a former middle school principal. And then he ran out of the building and didn’t tell anybody he did that and this building was evacuated for over an hour and Congress had to hold the vote open that’s usually only 15 minutes on the first vote. They held it open for over an hour as well. There’s some serious problems for Jamaal Bowman, and he needs to be prosecuted for violating the same federal law that they are prosecuting January 6th defendants and President Trump.”

Even though he was ordered a summons, expect Bowman to get a slap on the wrist.
