Joe Biden and the Democrats are doing significant damage to the country.
Their pursuit of Donald Trump and anyone associated with him has taken a dark turn.
And Ron DeSantis called out a truly terrifying thing the Biden administration is doing.
Democrats and their media allies balked when crowds of Donald Trump supporters chanted “lock her up” in reference to Hillary Clinton.
When Trump took office, he did not pursue Clinton or his political enemies.
Meanwhile, Clinton and the Deep State were actively working to destroy him.
Now that Joe Biden is in the White House, he did not extend the same grace to Trump that he showed Clinton.
DeSantis puts a white-hot spotlight on Leftists’ double standards
Instead, Biden has weaponized the Department of Justice to go after Trump and anyone affiliated with him.
In light of outrageous charges against January 6th defendants, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called out the ill treatment of people getting decades in jail while George Floyd rioters got a slap on the wrist.
When asked about J6 defendants’ sentences, DeSantis responded, “We will look at all those cases…There’s some examples of people that should not have been prosecuted. They just walked into the Capitol. If they were BLM, they would not have been prosecuted…Then there’s other examples of people that probably did commit misconduct, they may have been violent, but to say it’s an act of terrorism when it was basically a protest that devolved into a riot, to do excessive sentences— you can look at, okay maybe they were guilty, but 22 years if other people that did other things got six months? … I think we need a single standard of justice, and so we’ll use pardons and commutations as appropriate to ensure that everyone’s treated equally, and as we know, a lot of people with the BLM riots, they didn’t get prosecuted at all.”

What about those bail funds and payments from the city?
Not only were many of the BLM rioters not prosecuted, they were paid by the city after being arrested.
Kamala Harris and Hollywood celebrities paid bail for the protesters.
In sum, dozens were killed during the George Floyd riots, and billions of dollars in property damage was incurred.
Influential 1960s neo-Marxist Herbert Marcuse, argued that all movements from the Left must be tolerated, but no movements from the Right can be tolerated.
That’s why J6 protesters who wandered around the Capitol languished in jail for months while hardened criminals are celebrated by the Left.
