Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have nothing beyond Orange Man Bad.
That’s why they’re putting all their eggs in the anti-Donald Trump basket.
But Pelosi’s witch hunt against Trump ran into a roadblock that’s both hilarious and disturbing.
The Democrats are milking the televised January 6 House Select Committee hearing for all they’re worth.
They can’t talk about skyrocketing inflation and crime, the border, the war in Ukraine, or the culture war issues that have alienated millions of Americans.
So they have to attack Donald Trump and “Trumpism” more broadly.
That’s why they hired an ABC News producer to turn the hearings into a spectacle.
But thus far their plan has not worked.
The latest humiliation saw the Democrats and Big Tech’s censorship schemes backfire on them as one of Pelosi’s own committee videos censored by YouTube for the “crime” of playing a clip of Trump speaking.
The New York Post reported that YouTube has deleted the House select committee video of testimony from a hearing probing the Capitol riot “because the platform said the posting advanced election misinformation.”
The clip, which was uploaded last Tuesday, was no longer visible by Friday on the committee websites.
The Democrat-led Jan. 6 panel uploaded the clip last Tuesday only to see it removed because it “featured footage of then-President Donald Trump telling the Fox Business Network that the election had been stolen,” The Post added.
Reports from both The New York Post and The New York Times state the Google-owned platform insisted that the video which featured testimony from former Attorney General William Barr, “violated its terms of service.”
By Friday, the clip was no longer visible on the committee website’s youtube plugin.
That the Left are so lacking in understanding context is both amusing and terrifying.
The January 6 Committee that is trying to prove Trump sent a mob of insurrectionists into the Capitol cannot even show a clip of Trump speaking because Big Tech is in lockstep with the Democrats’ own wishes to censor every claim questioning the 2020 election.
YouTube spokeswoman Ivy Choi said, “Our election integrity policy prohibits content advancing false claims that widespread fraud, errors or glitches changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, if it does not provide sufficient context…We enforce our policies equally for everyone, and have removed the video uploaded by the Jan. 6 committee channel.”
It’s chilling to see just how much Big Tech is censoring language regardless of context.
People have been banned from YouTube and Twitter for quoting comments from “authorized” voices like Dr. Anthony Fauci, the CDC, and the WHO.
Whatever the regime says at the current moment is the only allowable opinion.
It’s also quite telling that YouTube only censors voices questioning the 2020 election, and no others.
It’s almost as if the Biden regime is being propped up because so few people actually believe in it.
