Not even Joe Biden could believe Big Tech went to bat for him like this

Joe Biden’s regime is circling the drain.

He knows his lackeys are doing everything they can to protect him.

But even he couldn’t believe Big Tech went to bat for him like this.

The culmination of Joe Biden’s destruction of the economy came with the announcement of the second quarter GDP numbers clocking in at -0.9% growth.

This marked the beginning of the Biden recession with two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth.

Sensing impending doom before the second quarter GDP numbers were released, the White House changed the definition of a recession.

The longstanding technical definition of a recession has been two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth from textbooks to the government’s own documents.

The White House offered up a mealy mouthed definition of a recession that claimed a strong job market prevented the economy from being in one.

After the terrible second quarter GDP numbers dropped, Biden and his allies furiously tried to protect what’s left of his Presidency from the devastating news.

Wikipedia is one of the most popular sites on the internet and a staple for information online.

As the White House sparked a debate that never should have been over whether the country was in a recession, Wikipedia was flooded with users to its “recession” entry.

In an Orwellian move to protect the Biden regime, Wikipedia rewrote the site’s definition of a recession to match the definition put out by the White House.

Wikipedia’s entries are typically crowdsourced giving anyone the ability to contribute to a page.

After the news broke on the second quarter GDP numbers, the page was edited dozens of times before Wikipedia shut down debate and locked the page in what appears to be a desperate move to protect Joe Biden.

The previous definition of two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth was removed and replaced with “There is no global consensus on the definition of a recession.”

The final definition after furious edits claimed, “The definition of a recession varies between different countries and scholars.”

Wikipedia then locked down the page to prevent users from making any changes to the entry which is possible on virtually every other entry.

A pop-up message claimed that the page was locked down “to prevent vandalism.”

The administrators of the recession page added the page was locked for “persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content” warning the page may be “affected by a current event.”

Now, any changes to the recession page have to be approved by the administrators who are clearly in the tank for the Biden regime or “established, registered users.”

This is a blatantly Orwellian attempt to redefine a recession to protect Biden as traffic spiked on Wikipedia in the aftermath of the quarter two GDP numbers.

While Big Tech is furiously trying to protect Joe Biden, they can’t change the economic reality the country is facing under his failed regime.
