Democrats can’t handle anyone disagreeing with their pronouncements.
That’s doubly true when they look at you as a turn coat.
So Nancy Pelosi’s jaw hit the ground when this Hollowood actor piped up against the Democrats’ radical agenda.
Actor and director Sean Penn has been an outspoken leftist since back in his days playing iconic stoner Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
He was one of several celebrities who hobnobbed with deceased socialist Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.
But while doing press for his upcoming movie Flag Day, Penn made a statement about American men that had the Left gasping for air.
Penn flat-out said that the culture has “feminized” men.
During an interview with i News in the UK, Penn explained:
“I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized…I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did. But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.”
Penn is no right-winger, but echoed the sentiments of many conservatives who have pointed out how the feminist movement has pushed hard to masculinize women and feminize men in some twisted pursuit of “equity.”
For example, Disney recently announced that Minnie Mouse would be wearing a pantsuit in honor of Women’s History Month, while pop star Harry Styles was celebrated for wearing a dress on the cover of a fashion magazine.
Every few years, the Left pretends that a man wearing a dress is boldly progressive, yet the gimmick has been done many times going back at least to David Bowie in the 1970s.
In a separate interview with The Independent, Penn was given a chance to backtrack, but he doubled down.
“I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized…I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them. There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.”
Penn is entirely correct.
The cultural push is pervasive throughout education, and it has even crept into corporate America.
Men’s shaving company Gillette aired a national commercial denouncing toxic masculinity based on tropes straight out of a radical feminist college seminar.
The Left have become obsessed with androgyny, which is why they are pushing so hard to manipulate language and mainstream transgenderism.
Penn said what many on the Right have known for years.
Perhaps old-school liberals like Penn are finally waking up to the cultural propaganda that is being undertaken by the radical Left.
