Democrats are using the January 6 Committee as a Stalinesque show trial.
There are no lengths they won’t go to in their crusade to take out Trump supporters.
Now, Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 witch hunt took a disturbing turn with this frightening collusion.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a far-Left non-profit that claims to monitor and expose so-called hate groups in the U.S.
The group portrays itself as a non-partisan effort to combat hate groups like the KKK and violent neo-Nazis.
With the paltry number of actual hate groups in the country, the SPLC began an effort to lump mainstream conservative groups into what they call hate groups and extremist organizations.
The SPLC designates mainstream Christian organizations as “extremists” and “hate groups” for supporting traditional family values.
Opposing the radical LGTBQ agenda makes a Christian group no better than the KKK in the eyes of the SPLC.
One of the groups designated by the SPLC as an “extremist hate group” is the Family Research Council (FRC) a Christian non-profit supporting pro-family policies.
In 2012 a terrorist named Floyd Corkins entered the FRC’s office and shot a security guard while holding more than a dozen Chick-fil-a sandwiches.
Corkins told the FBI his attack was inspired by an SPLC “hate map” designating the FRC as anti-gay extremist group.
The SPLC designates conservative organizations as “hate groups” to paint the target for censorship according to Hayden Ludwig with the Capital Research Center, an investigative think tank probing non-profits.
The SPLC has become “the Left’s top censor for groups it wants to shut down,” Ludwig explained.
“Painting right-leaning groups that support widespread, traditional beliefs as ‘extreme’ is just a way of shutting down debate so leftists don’t have to defend their own radical views,” said Ludwig.
Now, the SPLC is joining with Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 witch hunt in a disturbing collaboration.
The SPLC has provided nearly 40 pages of research and written testimony to the sham committee to smear Trump supporters.
“Over the past few months, our SPLC analysts have met with Jan. 6 Select Committee staff and submitted nearly 40 pages of written testimony and research to document the involvement of extremists in the planning and preparation for the insurrection,” said Michael Lieberman, a senior policy counsel on hate and extremism at the SPLC, in a statement to Politico. “Our work has helped to document coordination between Trump, his allies and two extremist groups we’ve tracked for years.”
The two groups in the SPLC’s crosshairs are the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers.
While the January 6 Committee laughably claims to be a non-partisan effort simply searching for the facts, their work with the SPLC punches yet another hole in that claim.
This is another effort to use the SPLC to launder the idea that Trump supporters are dangerous extremists through the sham January 6 Committee.
The collaboration between Nancy Pelosi and the SPLC shows the disturbing lengths Democrats are going to in their crusade to take out pro-Trump conservatives.
