The woke mob has been on the warpath over alleged slights in recent years.
Now their targets and targeting criteria seem to be expanding.
Because this music exec’s career just got destroyed and you’ll be outraged why.
The co-founder of British music company Spitfire Audio just announced he’s leaving the company he built.
And it’s all over a single tweet that enraged the left.
Back in September British music executive Christian Henson spoke out in support of comedy writer Graham Linehan and author J.K. Rowling after they came under attack for challenging the left’s transgender agenda.
Henson made the mistake of speaking up in support of J.K. Rowling’s concerns over gender transitioning children
“As a parent, I can no longer keep my mouth shut about this. I’m in full support of glinner & J.K. Rowling,” he wrote in a tweet in September where he shared a YouTube video pushing for Linhan’s cancellation. “Please look into this.”
Sp!ked noted Henson’s tweet resulted in what was possibly the “quickest cancellation yet.”
“On Monday afternoon, British composer Christian Henson took to Twitter to voice his support for gender heretics Graham Linehan and JK Rowling,” the publication reported. “Less than 24 hours later, Spitfire Audio, the company Henson co-founded, denounced him and said he was ‘taking a break’.”
“In his since-deleted tweet, from his since-deleted Twitter account, Henson seemed to be expressing his concerns about children being essentially pushed towards medically transitioning,” the report continued. “‘As a parent I can no longer keep my mouth shut about this’, he said, linking to a video of Linehan discussing – among other things – the now defunct Tavistock gender clinic and the campaign of abuse against Rowling for her defence of sex-based rights.”
British clinic allegedly pressured autistic kids to transition
The Tavistock clinic was shut down as a scandal unfurled revealing that children—especially those with autism—were reportedly heavily pressured to transition to another gender.
Now, five months later, Henson, who was providing a legitimate warning to parents, is giving in to the woke mob—essentially admitting that his cancellation is permanent.
“As an original founder I am deeply saddened that Spitfire and Pianobook has become embroiled in something it has no involvement with. Spitfire employs a large number of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, all of whom are united in their passion for music, sound, and composing,” he wrote in Twitter post.
“This whole episode has taken a great toll on them,” he added. “That is why I have decided to put them first and step back from any involvement in Spitfire Audio, Pianobook and LABS including acting in any consulting capacity.”
It’s ironic that while malpractice at the Tavistock clinic has received relatively little attention from the media, a single tweet questioning the woke left was enough to destroy Henson’s career.
