Ever since Conservatives won a majority on the Supreme Court during the Trump administration, the Left has been calling the High Court “illegitimate.”
But Merrick Garland went even further.
And Merrick Garland left SCOTUS Justices no choice but to take this one stunning action.
The most radical elements on the Left have been regularly protesting and threatening Conservative members of the Supreme Court for several years now.
Following a leak revealing the Supreme Court of the United States plans to overturn Roe v. Wade last Spring, Left-wing groups – cheered on by leaders in the Democrat party – organized protests not just on the steps of the Supreme Court building, but outside the homes of all the justices appointed by GOP Presidents.

Some of these groups, like Shut Down DC, actually advertised that they would pay for information on the whereabouts of Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.
They wanted the location so they could publicly harass the Justices in an attempt to get them to change their vote.
Furthermore, another radical group Ruth Sent Us, published where Amy Coney Barrett’s kids went to school and encouraged followers to show up and harass.
If you’re in the DC metro area, join us. Our protests at Barrett’s home moved the needle to this coverage.

Worst of all, one woke radical tried to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Nicholas John Roske was apprehended outside the home of Justice Kavanaugh with a cache of weapons – and he admitted to law enforcement officers he intended to kill Kavanaugh.
Roske said his motivation was due to Kavanaugh not supporting gun-control legislation or abortion “rights.”
Justices make request of Congress for 2024 as AG Garland refuses to go after left-wing protestors
During all of this, President Joe Biden’s U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland did little to nothing to stop any of it.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and AG Garland go back and forth over protesters outside SCOTUS justices’ homes.
Cruz: “How did you choose not to enforce this statute?”
Garland: “The marshals on scene …”
Cruz: “Marshals don’t make that decision.”
Garland: “They do make the decision!” pic.twitter.com/FlPLy8etU3

According to Title 18, Section 1507, of the U.S. Code, it is illegal to protest outside of a judge’s home with the intent of influencing a ruling.
With their own lives and the lives of their families in danger – and with AG Garland sitting on his hands – the Republican-appointed Justices on the highest court in all the land requested that Congress provide more money for their safety.
The Court has requested $5,897 for the “expansion of protective activities” and an additional increase of $585,000 for a new IT security position in cybersecurity, software development, and network engineering.
“On-going threat assessments show evolving risks that require continuous protection,” the request reads. “Additional funding would provide for contract positions, eventually transitioning to full-time employees, that will augment capabilities of the Supreme Court police force and allow it to accomplish its protective mission.”
Ted Cruz: “Is it a federal crime to protest outside of a judge’s home with the intent of influencing that judge as to a pending case?”
AG Garland: “The answer to that is yes.” pic.twitter.com/zzff4UgnvJ

It’s possible Garland’s lack of action could have something to do with the Attorney General having an ax to grind.
History of a grudge
Back in 1997, then-President Bill Clinton appointed Merrick Garland to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington D.C.
There Garland made a series of controversial rulings on hot button political topics all the way until he made then-President Barack Obama’s short-list for the Supreme Court of the United States in both 2009 and 2010.
Instead, Obama nominated Sonya Sotomayor and Elana Kagan to the high court.
However, following the death of iconic Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, Obama finally nominated Garland in the closing days of his Second term.
But Obama didn’t have the votes as the Senate wound down for that session of Congress and a grassroots pro-Life movement stiffened Republicans to refusing to confirm Garland.
The following year, then-incoming President Trump nominated and the GOP Senate confirmed Neal Gorsuch to the High Court followed by two more justices.
So, when Joe Biden took the oath of office, he made Garland the Attorney General of the United States.
By all appearances, Garland has already gone to great lengths using the so-called Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances – or FACE – Act to make members of the grassroots pro-Life movement pay for stopping his confirmation to the High Court.
And now Garland has seemingly refused to protect the Justices who have the job he believes was his.
