Big Tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg was in a rush to go along to get along with the Biden administration.
But that decision is coming back to haunt him.
Now Zuckerberg is starting to twitch after he got some bad news from top Republicans.
Republican Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) is gearing up to go after dirty players in Big Tech.
That announcement comes as conservatives try to sort out the depth and breadth of collusion between government officials—especially the FBI and CDC—over the past three years.
Jordan sent letters giving Big Tech CEOS heads up about investigations when new Congress begins
Jordan, an outspoken critic of the Biden administration, is expected to lead the House Judiciary Committee when Republicans regain their power in the House early next year.
He’s already sent letters to Big Tech CEOs.
In addition to going after Mark Zuckerburg, Facebook founder and Meta CEO, Jordan sent letters to the CEOs of Apple, Amazon, Alphabet (Google’s parent company), and Microsoft.
In the letters, which included copious citations, Jordan called out the industry for its evident partisan work.
“Big Tech is out to get conservatives, and is increasingly willing to undermine First Amendment values by complying with the Biden Administration’s directives that suppress freedom of speech online. This approach undermines fundamental American principles and allows powerful government actors to silence political opponents and stifle opposing viewpoints,” Jordan wrote in his letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
“Publicly available information suggests that your company’s treatment of certain speakers and content may stem from government directives or guidance designed to suppress dissenting views,” he added. “Therefore, we write to request more information about the nature and extent of your company’s collusion with the Biden Administration.”
He also noted the role Big Tech is playing as “a powerful and effective partisan arm of the ‘woke speech police.’”
“These examples raise serious concerns about how and why tech companies suppress, silence, or reduce the reach of certain political speech and speakers. The collusion of Big Tech and Big Government to advance censorship undeniably undermines liberty and jeopardizes our country’s First Amendment values and protections,” Jordan added.
Rep. Jordan told CEOs what to bring when House Judiciary Committee grills them on Big Tech-Big Government collusion
Jordan provided the CEOs with a long list of information they’re required to provide including all documentation since January 1, 2020 relating to censorship activities, documentation of all communication with the Biden administration, a list of employees in charge of developing policies affecting what is censored, and a list of people tasked with enforcing those policies.
Leftists have been having all kinds of fun living out their woke fantasies with Democrats in charge of three branches of the federal government for the past two years.
But that party is coming to a screeching halt.
And leftist Big Tech operators have every reason to dread 2023.
