Democrat loyalists run Hollywood.
And they appear willing to go to great lengths to ensure Tinseltown stars march in lockstep with pushing a leftist worldview.
So Mark Wahlberg is under attack for a reason that will leave you red with rage.
Actor Mark Wahlberg has seldom been accused of being rock-ribbed conservative, but he’s one of the few celebrities in Hollywood who appears to still possess some common sense.
Perhaps that’s why he moved his family out of Tinseltown.
But now, the award-winning actor’s recent appearance at an awards show has him being attacked by a cancel culture mob over an incident from his youth.
And the award for best virtue signaling goes to…
The entertainment industry has long pushed a Left-wing agenda down the throats of viewers.
In recent years the “Social Justice” advocacy has become rampant and blatant with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion replacing plot, character and climax.
And now, even award shows have turned into nothing more than never-ending displays of virtue signaling.
The final award at the recent Screen Actors Guild award show was not for Best Actor or Best Picture – but instead for “outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture.”
The award went to the mostly Asian cast of the little-watched indy movie Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Mark Wahlberg was selected to present the award.

And now the woke mob is in full meltdown mode that Wahlberg apparently had the gall to hand off the award to asian actors because he was convicted for assault in the robbery of an asian man back when he was 16.
Wahlberg has said that his motivation to get money to buy more drugs.
“I have apologized, many times,” Wahlberg said to the Associated Press back in December 2014. “The first opportunity I had to apologize was right there in court when all the dust had settled and I was getting shackled and taken away, and making sure I paid my debt to society and continue to try and do things that make up for the mistakes that I’ve made.”
Now leftist evidently want to make the incident fit a narrative.
A swarm on social media raced to apply the “hate crime” label to Wahlberg’s past.

And the entertainment media is abuzz.

Sending Wahlberg a message?
Of course, his teen-aged criminality likely had nothing to do with the victim’s race.
But Wahlberg has shown a few signs he’s not completely onboard with the Hollywood Left’s agenda in recent years.
Last year, he sold his Los Angeles home and moved his family outside of Las Vegas – where he’s opening a new film studio.
“[I want to] be able to give my kids a better life and follow their dreams, whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my youngest son as a golfer — this made a lot more sense for us,” Wahlberg said in an interview with The Talk. “We came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s a lot of opportunity here. I’m really excited about the future.”
And he once again triggered the “social justice” crowd when he appeared on Today with an ash cross on his forehead.
“It’s not popular in my industry, but you know, I cannot deny my faith,” he said. “It’s important for me to share that with people.”
This made me laugh so hard I started crying. Mark Wahlberg trying to speak passionately about his Catholic faith and Lent with an ash cross on his forehead while that glib "Mark Wahlberg's 40 Day Challenge!" graphic sits there is just…too much. OMG pic.twitter.com/iD22UrI3El

Wahlberg is a proud Catholic – which was fully on display in his recent film, Father Stu – and that has never sat well with Hollywood elitists and other leftists around the country.
