Maria Bartiromo sent the Biden administration’s media shills into meltdown after this one fact she reported on Fox News

The Democrat Media Complex exists to shill for Joe Biden and his comrades, always ready to swat down facts that don’t fit the approved narrative.

Every once in a while a truth slips out that they really can’t handle.

And Maria Bartiromo sent the Biden administration’s media shills into meltdown after this one fact she reported on Fox News.

An entire press ecosystem exists to prop up Democrats and demonize Republicans.

But when a fact slips out that they really can’t handle, they call in their so-called fact-checking organizations.

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo sent the Left’s so-called “fact checkers” to work recently and it went horribly wrong for them when Politifact got busted again when it attempted to fact-check Bartiromo, and failed miserably.

Bartiromo said on the air, “We have doubled our (oil) imports from Russia in the last year.”

Politifact labeled the claim “mostly false.”

But just below that rating, Politifact said [emphasis added]:

“The most recent data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that the U.S. increased its oil imports from Russia by about 28% in the first 11 months of 2021. The U.S. did double the amount of crude oil imported from Russia last year. But Russia accounts for only about 3% of overall U.S. crude oil imports in 2021.”

So Bartiromo’s claim was not “mostly false”; it was true.

Politifact is playing a semantic game trying to pretend that refined oil imports are what matters in this context when it is really crude oil.

Because Bartiromo never specified “crude” in her statement, Politifact says she’s lying.

Even the most persnickety fact-checker should’ve labeled her claim “mostly true” or “missing context,” but the site did not do that because it hurts Joe Biden and the Democrats’ narrative as oil supplies contract from both the Ukraine fallout and Biden’s refusal to renew domestic drilling leases.

So-called fact checks have become an increasingly popular way for the establishment to spin the truth as more and more people are getting their information from alternative platforms outside the mainstream media.

Not only are they blatantly dishonest but the establishment and Big Tech then uses them as their excuse to censor dissenting opinions from the mainstream narrative.

The rationale for such heavy-handed censorship is that “disinformation” is undermining American democracy.

But sites like Snopes and Politifact are nothing more than left-wing hacks with a clear agenda.

Politifact wants the headline of “mostly false” on Bartiromo’s statement in order to take away from the failures of Joe Biden’s energy policies.

Biden nixed the Keystone XL pipeline and signaled harsher regulation, which led to heightened speculation on energy.

The speculation led to a rise in energy costs and put more money into Vladimir Putin’s pocket.

And since Biden undercut America’s energy independence achieved under Donald Trump, Biden then turned around and asked Russia and OPEC for help.

But Biden and the Democrats don’t want to be seen as responsible for contributing to Vladimir Putin’s war of aggression in any way, so Politifact slapped a “mostly false” rating on Bartiromo’s factual claim.

This is how the Democrats launder their “disinformation” while pretending to crusade against it.
