Democrats were gleeful over the firing of Tucker Carlson.
But they weren’t the only ones.
Liz Cheney and the warmongers said something disturbing about Carlson’s firing.
It’s no surprise that the Democrat Media Complex openly mocked the firing of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
It’s the Left’s job to oppose people on the Right.
But it was quite revealing that Carlson was hated just as much by the Republican establishment and the entrenched deep state.
Carlson constantly railed against the intelligence community and the warmongers, which will quickly draw the ire of the D.C. Swamp.
Upon hearing the news of Carlson’s ouster, top brass at the Pentagon celebrated.
One Department of Defense senior official told POLITICO, “We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.”
Carlson never bagged on the military; he called out leadership for nonsensical neocon wars where the mission was undefined, and the propaganda was thick.
Pentagon officials think they muzzled their biggest opposition voice
Former service members routinely spoke with Carlson on his show.
Another DoD official said, “Good riddance.”
When asked about his response to DoD officials celebrating, Carlson texted a reporter, “Ha! I’m sure.”
The Pentagon was particularly furious when Carlson called out the military pandering with “woke” nonsense while real questions of military readiness and ill-conceived interventions were never debated.
Carlson said in response, “So we’ve got new hairstyles and maternity flight suits. Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. It’s a mockery of the U.S. military.”
The Biden administration wants to distract from real issues by focusing on trivial matters like flight suits.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said at the time, “What we absolutely won’t do is take personnel advice from a talk show host or the Chinese military.”
Ohio Senator J.D. Vance called out the DoD officials for taking anonymous swipes at Carlson.
He wrote, “Every ‘senior Pentagon official’ who commented on this story while hiding behind anonymity is a coward. Call me old fashioned, but senior military officials should maintain neutrality about hot button political topics. And they certainly shouldn’t run to one media outlet to gossip—anonymously—about another.”
Carlson was by far the loudest non-interventionist voice on cable news, which is why the D.C. Swamp was so desperate to shut him up.
People who get cross with the war machine find themselves on the wrong end of endless attacks.
Former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard learned that lesson the hard way after she called out the warmongers too.
