CNN’s Democrat pundits aren’t used to dealing with any pushback.

They got into one fight they couldn’t win.

And Kevin O’Leary went scorched earth on CNN over this big lie about Donald Trump.

Kevin O’Leary presses for deeper DOGE cuts

Democrats and their public relations team in the media are in a state of panic over President Donald Trump’s attempt to cut government spending.

The Department of Agriculture announced that it would eliminate $1 billion in federal grants for schools and food banks to buy food from farmers directly.

Agriculture Department officials said the decision was part of a move for more fiscally responsible initiatives.

Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary was asked about the cuts during a panel on CNN’s NewsNight

He argued that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should double down.

“This issue is not going to go away because it’s very contentious, but when you cut in any organization, government or private, it’s very demoralizing,” O’Leary explained. “It’s traumatic, and it gets lots of bad press as we’re doing right now. But that’s why you cut 20 percent more.”

O’Leary noted that it’s easier to make cuts all at once versus going back for a second pass.

“I think Elon is not cutting enough. Cut 20% more. Now get your spreadsheet out,” O’Leary said. “These are the names. Whack everybody and then 20% more, as we do in the private sector every day and have done for 100 years in private equity and higher.”

“When the organization gels that way, the demoralization only happens once. You don’t want to cut multiple times, but in that more whacking, more whacking,” O’Leary added.

Kevin O’Leary schools CNN’s Democratic pundits over teachers unions

CNN Democrat pundit Bakari Sellers jumped in to argue that the government can’t be run like a business.

“This is worse than the private sector,” O’Leary stated. “Fat dripping with waste government.”

Sellers claimed that the reason is that students are allegedly underperforming in red states in the south.

“So I’m not arguing with you about your expertise in the private sector, but what I am saying is that a 20 percent cut or whack or whack or whack you’re cutting from Allendale Fairfax High School in Birmingham high schools, you’re cutting from places that really matter,” Sellers argued.

O’Leary noted that American students lag behind other countries.

“As an individual who worked in the education system for 14 years, there’s a 110,000 high schools in America. Majority of them are New York, Florida, Texas and California,” O’Leary said. “Our reading and math scores are the worst in the G7 and the G20 in terms of how many dollars we spend to advance our children.”

The Shark Tank star pointed to the real problem holding students back.

“Why? Unions. Unions that keep mediocre teachers in place in every high school in America when we should be firing them,” O’Leary explained. “You want to talk about whack as our theme of tonight’s show? I would like to fire teachers — wait, wait, wait. And I’d like to pay a lot more to the teachers that advance math and reading scores.”

Donald Trump and DOGE are getting rid of the deadweight that holds Americans and the economy back.
