The Biden administration has weaponized the Department of Justice in frightening ways.
Never before has a former U.S. President been targeted this way.
And now Kamala Harris just piped up with two words to the mob about Merrick Garland’s indictment play.
The fallout continues from Attorney General Merrick Garland’s shocking raid of Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.
The White House and Garland are trying very hard to give the impression that Garland acted unilaterally in his raid of Trump’s home, but that strains belief.
Vice President Kamala Harris attempted to put more distance between Garland in the White House, but her attempt failed when she said that the American people will “demand justice” regarding Trump.
During a sit-down interview, NBC’s Chuck Todd asked Harris, “How much should former President Trump’s status as a former President and a potential 2024 candidate—how much should that factor into the decision to charge him?”
Harris gave the company line and responded, “Well, I wouldn’t dare tell the Department of Justice what to do. As a former prosecutor, I will tell you, I am not in the business of telling a prosecutor what to do with their case because they know best the facts and the evidence as applied to the law. And so I’m not going to tell them what to do. And certainly the President and I and our administration, unlike the previous administration, have been very, very careful to make sure that there is no question about any kind of interference in terms of the decisions that the Department of Justice makes.”
That’s an absurd claim.
Trump did not interfere with the bogus Russian collusion investigation, and he never directed William Barr to do anything.
Meanwhile, Garland has been an attack dog for the Biden administration.
Garland shockingly raided the homes of journalists for Project Veritas because the FBI suspected they had possession of Ashley Biden’s diary, which they did not.
Todd pressed and asked, “But let me try to go to 60,000 feet. What do you say to the argument that it would be too divisive for the country to prosecute a former President?”
Harris replied, “I think that our country is a country that has gone through different periods of time where the unthinkable has happened, and where there has been a call for justice, and justice has been served. And I think that’s potentially going to always be the case in our country that people are going to demand justice and they rightly do.”
“Demand justice” says it all.
The last time the Left demanded justice, America suffered from rioting and looting for seven months straight in 2020.
And activist groups were ready to take to the streets on election night 2020 if Trump had been declared the winner.
Democrats are clearly applying pressure to Garland to indict Trump.
They will stop at nothing to vanquish the Orange Man.
