After failing to sink Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, Democrats really cranked up their attacks when they realized he would help deliver the ruling of their nightmares.

Now Kavanaugh had the chance to watch President Joe Biden’s attack dog start to get his comeuppance.

And Justice Kavanaugh hammered Joe Biden’s Attorney General without a word in a fireworks-filled hearing.

After winning the close and controversial 2020 election, then President-elect Joe Biden made it his mission to put together the most “inclusive” White House administration in history.

Biden picked his team based on box checking and grudges instead of qualifications and merit.

And now Republican Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah are exposing Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland for dropping the ball at his job.

Merrick Garland and his consolation prize

Back in 1997, then-President Bill Clinton appointed Merrick Garland to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington D.C.

There Garland made a series of controversial rulings on hot button political topics all the way until he made then-President Barack Obama’s short-list for the Supreme Court of the United States in both 2009 and 2010.

Instead, Obama nominated Sonya Sotomayor and Elana Kagan to the high court.

However, following the death of conservative hero Justice Antonin Scalia, Obama finally nominated Garland.

But Obama didn’t have the votes in the Senate and Republicans refused to confirm Garland to SCOTUS.

Instead, it came to then-President Donald Trump to fill the void left by the passing of Justice Scalia.

Trump nominated, and the upper Chamber confirmed, Neal Gorsuch to the High Court.

The 45th President of the United States was able to place two more of his selections on SCOTUS.

But when Joe Biden took the oath of office, he made Garland the Attorney General of the United States.

Garland sits on his hands while Justices’ lives are put in danger

And according to Republican Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah, the Justices of the Supreme Court are suffering from Garland’s failures at the position.

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this week Cruz and Lee grilled the Attorney General about his actions – or more to the point, lack thereof – when Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States were faced with attacks from radical Leftist activists.

Following a leak revealing that a majority of SCOTUS Justices planned to overturn Roe v. Wade last Spring, left-wing groups organized protests not just on the steps of the Supreme Court building, but outside the homes of all the justices appointed by GOP Presidents.

Some of these groups, like Shut Down DC, reportedly paid for information on the whereabouts of Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.

They wanted the location so they could publicly harass the Justices in an attempt to get them to change their vote.

The group Ruth Sent Us published where Amy Coney Barrett’s kids went to school and encouraged followers to show up and harass.

And a radical tried even to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Nicholas John Roske was apprehended outside the home of Justice Kavanaugh with a cache of weapons – and he admitted to law enforcement officers he intended to kill Kavanaugh.

Roske said his motivation was due to Kavanaugh not supporting gun-control legislation or abortion “rights.”

Cruz and Lee hold Garland accountable

During all of this, AG Garland did little to nothing to stop any of it.

According to Title 18, Section 1507, of the U.S. Code, it is illegal to protest outside of a judge’s home with the intent of influencing a ruling.

While in front of the Judiciary Committee, Cruz and Lee tried to get to the bottom of why Garland neglected to fulfill his duties.

“It is concerning to me when you show up at the home of a public official,” Utah’s Sen. Lee said. “You’re sending the message of implicit violence. You’re sending the message, ‘We know where you sleep.’ ‘We know where you and your family are most vulnerable.’”

Lee said with all that on the line, Garland should have done more to make sure Marshals made arrests and those arrested were prosecuted.

Meanwhile, Cruz was more aggressive and believes Garland was playing politics with the Justices’ lives.

“Your failure to act to protect the safety of the justices and their families was an obvious product of political bias!” Cruz said.
