Jordan Peterson triggered a sports reporter without even saying a word

Canadian psychologist and author Jordan Peterson has become a king of the political viral video – out debating leftist opponents on a range of topics from feminism to gender dysphoria.

Peterson’s words make many leftists blood boil.

But now Peterson didn’t even have to utter a single word to trigger one sports reporter.

The Dr. of triggering Jordan Peterson

Dr. Jordan Peterson is best known for his stance against the Canadian government mandating the use of gender pronouns by rule of law.

He is also a best-selling author, most notably for his book, 12 Rules for Life.

The YouTube phenomenon recently left his tenured teaching position at Toronto University.

On his way out the door, he publicly blasted the academy as a corrupt vehicle for advancing woke culture.

He’s now the Chancellor of Ralston College in Savannah, Georgia.

And Peterson is a featured attraction with Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire subscription offering.

Despite his busy schedule, Peterson still finds time to partake in live speaking engagements in auditoriums around both the United States and his home country to our north.

There’s no crying in hockey

But one recent event had a sports reporter in full meltdown mode ahead of the speaking engagement.

Hockey analyst Ian Kennedy was up in arms that Jordan Peterson was allowed to book the January 30 show at the Canadian Tire Centre, the arena where the Ottawa Senators NHL team plays their home games.

So, according to Kennedy, Peterson’s show should have been canceled because of his common sense views.

Kennedy was hired to write about the NHL for Yahoo.

Instead, he spent his recent time penning a lengthy hit piece against Peterson and chastising the Senators and executives with the Canadian Tire Centre – all on the grounds of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

“Peterson’s appearance at an arena not only housing an NHL franchise, but operated by a group with representation at the NHL’s board of governors table, has raised concerns among those working to build diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in hockey,” Kennedy wrote in a run-on sentence. “When Peterson enters the Canadian Tire Centre on Jan. 30, that commitment to a safe and inclusive environment for all, according to critics, will be challenged.”

Except, seemingly the only person who was raising concerns about Peterson speaking his mind – was Kennedy.

And it’s likely that the only person who’s safety was challenged was Peterson’s.

For some time, Peterson has been forced to hire extra security for his events in the face of “mostly peaceful” protests by the cancel culture mob.

NHL goes woke

Kennedy points to the NHL’s commitment to inclusivity in its “Hockey is for Everyone” campaign as evidence that Peterson has no business being in NHL arenas.

The NHL has been criticized for going further and further down the woke trail in recent years.

Most recently, controversy broke out when some players resisted wearing gay pride jerseys for the league’s “pride week.”

They also ran afoul with Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently by promoting a job fair that welcomed everyone but straight, white, able-bodied males.

NHL higher-ups were forced to postpone the event once the DeSantis administration threatened to hit them with a discrimination suit.

Despite Kennedy’s plea to silence Peterson, the Canadian Tire Centre event went on as scheduled.
