The Left have become culturally dominant in recent years.

That’s why “wokeness” has become so toxic and widespread.

But Joe Biden’s Attorney General now has a Catholic student problem.

Catholic students were kicked out of the Smithsonian for a jaw-dropping reason

The “tolerant” Left struck again as Catholic high school students were asked to leave the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

The students’ transgression was wearing pro-life beanies, as they were in town for the annual March for Life.

Students and chaperones from Our Lady of the Rosary School in Greenville, South Carolina were supposedly harassed with expletives from employees at the museum for wearing blue pro-life beanies.

The employees told students that they had to take off the beanies because the museum was a “neutral zone,” but no one believes for a second that students wearing pro-abortion paraphernalia would’ve been told to leave.

Don’t count on Merrick Garland to launch an investigation

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is representing the parents of some of the students involved on free speech grounds.

One parent on Twitter said that the students were approached by a security guard and told to remove the beanies or leave the museum.

The students said that they were all wearing the beanies so they could easily identify each other and not get lost.

ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow called the actions of the museum “outrageous” and “abhorrent.”

Sekulow claimed that others in the museum were wearing all sorts of clothes with political messages.

Sekulow added, “This is a clear and egregious abuse of the First Amendment, which protects their right to free speech without government interference, and we are ready to take action…A government institution cannot censor an individual’s speech, much less speech from the inherently Christian pro-life position.”

The Smithsonian receives $1 billion in government funding each year.

It also appears as though the museum knows it made a mistake.

Alison Wood, Deputy Director of Communications for the museum, wrote in a statement, “Asking visitors to remove hats and clothing is not in keeping with our policy or protocols. We provided immediate training to prevent a re-occurrence of this kind of incident, and have determined steps to ensure this does not happen again.”

It’s quite disturbing that the culture has become so left-wing that wearing a pro-life beanie in a government building is grounds for being harassed and escorted out of the building.
