Democrats and their media allies have lost monopoly control of the narrative.
And they’re doing everything they can to take it back.
But Joe Biden is worried sick that top Republicans are flocking to this plan floated by Greta Van Susteren.
The Democrat Media Complex obliterated its credibility in order to take down Donald Trump.
The consequence is that more and more people began getting their news from places other than Democrat-controlled media.
And the response from the Left has been to censor and destroy any platforms that veer from the narrative.
One America News Network was booted off major cable providers, and Newsmax is next on the chopping block.
Former Fox News host called out DirecTV owners
That’s why Newsmax host Greta Van Susteren said that the “Congress should investigate AT&T, DirecTV for censorship of OAN.”
The Democrats really want to take out Fox News, but they’re starting with OAN and Newsmax as they ratchet up the pressure campaign against Fox.
Van Susteren added, “Deplatforming conservative media is a threat to our freedoms.”
And Republicans heard her call.
House GOP members wrote in a letter, “It is our understanding that DIRECTV – still majority-owned by AT&T and minority-owned and managed by TPG Capital – is moving to de-platform NEWSMAX by denying it cable fees on a fair and equitable basis.”
Senate Ted Cruz (R-TX) is among the GOP members calling out DirectTV and discussed the issue in a recent appearance on Newsmax.

For years, Democrats only had to worry about one cable news channel, but now they’re having to play Whac-A-Mole.
And the competition for the Left is only going to get stiffer as conservatives have begun to fill the news vacuum.
The letter from GOP members continued, “It is our understanding that DIRECTV carries 11 liberal news and information channels including Vice Media. The same individuals who sit on DIRECTV’s board of directors also sit on Vice Media’s board of directors. Coincidentally…Vice Media appears to receive higher fees than NEWSMAX is requesting despite having a fraction of the audience. Taken together, these two actions lead us to believe that DIRECTV, one of the nation’s largest Multichannel Video Programming Distributors, is actively working to limit conservative viewpoints on its system.”
It’s quite obvious that conservative media outlets are under attack.
In addition to blatant deplatforming in this instance, leftists are also using biased fact-checking organizations to discredit right-wing sites in order to have them censored on social media platforms and search engines.
The Left are ramping up their censorship efforts, but it is backfiring on them.
