Joe Biden can always count on the Big Tech overlords to have his back.
Americans are starting to question their cozy relationship.
But Joe Biden is sweating bullets after this surprising move against Big Tech deception.
The COVID-19 pandemic has seen Big Tech and the Biden administration work hand in hand to censor critics of the Left.
Big Tech has brutally enforced the COVID tyranny of Biden wiping out critics and eliminating any debate on the issue.
Doctors, scientists and politicians have been censored or even banned off Big Tech platforms for making scientifically based arguments against the Fauci led COVID hysteria.
YouTube has been one of the worst offenders about censoring in the name of the Biden-Fauci COVID tyranny.
As Americans have gotten fed with the pandemic more people are turning to YouTube to seek out dissenting opinions against COVID tyranny that are ignored in the corporate-controlled media.
YouTube’s censorship is getting worse as the COVID narrative breaks down with multiple doctors skeptical of the Fauci approach seeing their interviews censored off the platform.
The question is being asked of how deep this relationship goes between Big Tech and Biden.
Mark Zuckerberg and Anthony Fauci were caught on email working together with Facebook’s “Information Hub” on COVID.
The Biden regime has admitted to flagging social media posts for Big Tech to censor for “misinformation.”
Now, The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) is trying to get the answer to how deep the coordination is between Big Tech and Biden with a surprising tactic.
The NLPC, an ethics watchdog, submitted a shareholder proposal to YouTube’s parent company Alphabet to request information be made public on whether the Biden regime requested that the company censor COVID information on its behalf.
As stockholders in Alphabet the group can use its power as shareholders with partial ownership of the company to vote on governance of the company.
“The case for this kind of disclosure is double barreled. All citizens should be aware when the government engages in censorship, even if it is through a private-sector company, and shareholders of that company should know when they become a party to it,” NLPC chairman Peter Flaherty told the Washington Free Beacon.
“The administration keeps labeling certain information about the pandemic ‘disinformation,’ and gets it yanked off social media, only to later embrace the same information. Alphabet should not be contributing to such a farce,” he continued.
The tactic of shareholder activism was adopted from the radical Left who have used it to put climate change activists on the boards of oil companies.
Although the NLPC likely lacks the votes now to succeed the move could get the ball rolling for future success.
With potential shareholder activism tactics Big Tech will have to watch its back with backdoor government censorship in the future.
