A number of internal memos and other communications have been released to the public, indicating that Joe Biden and his administration have played a direct role in censoring Americans online.

Following the release of documents from Big Tech companies like Twitter and Meta, it appears that the Joe Biden administration practically strong-armed tech companies to censor their political rivals online.
These dubious actions prompted the United States District Judge Terry Doughty to level an injunction on July 4, prohibiting the federal government from colluding with tech companies to silence Americans.
This ruling has served as a catalyst for other groups and organizations to dial up the legal pressure on Joe Biden and his administration.
One such group is America First Legal, which is headed by former Trump official Stephen Miller.
This week, America First Legal launched a series of state Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests against a number of Attorney Generals, who they believe worked with a foreign organization to facilitate their respective censorship schemes.
The foreign organization in question is the British-based Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).
In a statement, America First Legal wrote:
The attorneys general called on the social media networks to ‘effectively root’ ‘out fraudulent information about coronavirus vaccines.’ The evidence is that they prepared this letter in coordination with the CCDH. CCDH describes itself as a ‘not-for-profit non-governmental organization’ that ‘works to stop the spread of online hate and disinformation through innovative research, public campaigns and policy advocacy.’
The Biden administration has not commented on these legal actions. But if these allegations are correct, then it could have far-reaching consequences for the White House.

Instead of outright denying the allegations of censoring Americans, the Biden administration has repeatedly defended their actions.
Following Judge Doughty’s July 4th injunction, the Biden administration announced a plan to fight back in the courts.
It appears as if the Biden administration is willing to do anything to keep silencing their political rivals online.
The Biden administration has a deep hatred for the First Amendment, and time will tell whether these lawsuits and others will make a difference when it comes to stopping these alleged schemes.
