And Jim Jordan tore into Merrick Garland after this Catholic father’s bone-chilling testimony to Congress.
Christians have been targeted by the Left for a long time, but things escalated after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and returned the abortion question to the states.
Since then, radical leftists have engaged in full-on offensives against pro-Life people and organizations.
Dozens of crisis pregnancy centers and churches have been vandalized and firebombed, and conservative Supreme Court justices have been hounded mercilessly.
And on an individual level, pro-Life sidewalk counselors outside of abortion clinics have literally been targeted by the FBI.
Catholic pro-Life advocate Mark Houck had his home raided by the FBI after defending his 12-year-old son from a rabid abortion activist outside of a clinic.
Local authorities deemed the incident trivial, but the feds soon knocked on his door, guns drawn.
After a four-month trial, Houck was acquitted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, and he testified before the House Judiciary Committee on the matter.
Houck told the Committee that five FBI agents raided his home at 6:30 a.m., pointing M-16 rifles at him and his five kids.
Garland’s goons conducted a dawn raid on home; put children “downrange of many”
Houck testified, “My children were downrange of many guns, and they screamed throughout the process. The committee should know they were traumatized.”
He added that the raid was intended to “instill fear in pro-Life America.”
Attorney General Merrick Garland, who runs the Department of Justice, is very much pro-abortion and rebuked the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs in a stunning act.
It’s no surprise that the FBI under his watch would be going after pro-Lifers.
Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said during the hearing, “So if you’re pro-family, pro-Life, and you want a border, you’re a target — and your family fits all of them…You’re a pro-Life, pro-family Catholic, for goodness’ sake; they’re going to come after you. You’ve got seven kids. You’re not allowed to have seven kids today, you know, we’re trying to save the planet. You can’t do that in America today. You were the example. That is how pervasive this political attitude is at the highest levels of our agencies.”
Jordan is correct in that Houck represents everything leftists hate.
He’s a pro-Life Catholic with a big family.
Houck is transgressing many secular leftist dogmas with his presence alone.
