Joe Biden has joined forces with Big Tech to try and suppress anything his opponents say about him.
Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan has advocated for those who are being censored by the Left.
Because jaws dropped as Jim Jordan got stabbed in the back after he announced a committee to investigate censorship of Conservatives.
Now it could have made him the target of a surprising censorship move and you won’t believe who put the knife to his throat.
Jim Jordan is the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee.
But apparently Ohio Senate Republicans are trying to push him out.
Jordan is a vocal opponent of the Left’s censorship.
He’s become known for his no nonsense approach in taking on the Left and it’s continued attempts to silence the opposition.
Last week Jordan announced that he would create a new investigations subcommittee focused on tackling censorship of conservatives on Big Tech platforms if the GOP takes back the House in 2022.
Jim Jordan has also been one of the leading GOP members in pushing back against the Democrats sham of a January 6 committee.
By all appearances Jordan is one of the good guys on the Right.
Why then are Senate Republicans trying to redistrict him out of his seat?
Lawmakers in Ohio are set to hold hearings next week on a pair of maps drawn up in the redistricting process ahead of next year’s midterms.
Ohio lost a seat in the last census, which has many lawmakers bickering back and forth on the best way to handle the line drawing.
One of the two maps proposed by Republicans in the GOP-controlled Senate is raising eyebrows.
The map adds urban Democrat strongholds to Jordan’s very rural conservative district.
It’s no secret that these urban areas could cost Jordan, Ohio’s most prominent House member, his seat in the 2022 midterms.
One Twitter user was quick to notice the strange proposal by the Senate Republicans in Ohio.
“Am I crazy, or does this map effectively re-district GOP Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-4) out of his seat by eliminating a bunch of conservative rural areas and adding in Democrat stronghold Columbus, thereby setting up a race between him and incumbent Democrat Rep. Joyce Beatty (OH-3)?” Tweeted Sean Davis.
The move comes as odd when Jordan is bringing a lot of attention to the hypocrisy and manipulation of the Left.
Republicans are looking to sweep in the 2022 midterms so why risk Jordan’s seat, which is likely safe given its rural placement.
Many say after looking at previous electoral data, despite the new lines Jordan would likely still be okay.
But others are still questioning the move by Republicans.
When asked by The Federalist the motive behind the map drawing Ohio Senate Majority Caucus Spokesman John Fortney simply stated, “We believe our proposal is constitutional and compliant and we look forward to hearing the process continuing next week.”
It may very well be compliant and constitutional, but it still looks fishy.
Is it possible that Jim Jordan is a bit too “radically conservative” for the Ohio Republicans?
Certainly, it seems that way.
