Clinton used Twitter to help spark Russiagate hoax
A recent tranche published by independent journalist Matt Taibbi revealed that Hillary Clinton and other top Democrats were using Twitter to sow the seeds of her Russiagate narrative.
After Twitter banned a small batch of Russian bot accounts, Democrats were mad that more wasn’t done to attack the Russia “problem.”
Taibbi disclosed, “Twitter was so sure they had no Russia problem, execs agreed the best PR strategy was to say nothing on record, and quietly hurl reporters at Facebook…In September, 2017, after a cursory review, Twitter informed the Senate it suspended 22 possible Russian accounts, and 179 others with ‘possible links’ to those accounts, amid a larger set of roughly 2700 suspects manually examined…Receiving these meager results, a furious Senator Mark Warner of Virginia – ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee – held an immediate press conference to denounce Twitter’s report as ‘frankly inadequate on every level.’”
Twenty-two measly accounts was not enough to justify the bogus Russiagate narrative that was being built.
Twitter exec admitted it was politically motivated and done on Clinton’s “cues”
Twitter’s Public Policy VP Colin Crowell wrote in an internal email, “Warner has political incentive to keep this issue at top of the news, maintain pressure on us and [the] rest of industry to keep producing material for them.”
Crowell also charged the Democrats with “taking cues from Hillary Clinton, who in her ‘What Happened’ book tour is pointedly talking about [the] role of Russian propaganda and dirty tricks that were pushed through social media had in her demise. She has specifically called out [Facebook] ‘and other social media’ for not doing enough to address state-sponsored mischief in the election.”

Clinton said publicly, “It’s time for Twitter to stop dragging its heels and live up to the fact that its platform is being used as a tool for cyber-warfare.”
After the media offensive orchestrated by Clinton, the Twitter Russia Task Force did not uncover any widespread disinformation campaign.
Clinton used Big Tech and the media to craft a total fabrication about why she lost to Donald Trump in 2016.
These revelations are why Musk’s purchase of Twitter is so important in fighting the D.C. Swamp.
