Back in 2021, Republicans in one purple state shocked Democrats by focusing on issues that conservatives care deeply about.
Now, woke mob members in the state have been re-traumatized after suffering another blow.
And the hero dad who broke the Left with one epic move, has conservative parents cheering again.
Democrats have played a wildly successful long game for decades by focusing on indoctrinating children in the nation’s educational system with their political agenda.
But in recent years, they’ve become much more aggressive pushing a victim mentality with their Critical Race Theory (CRT) and facilitating gender transitions inside the walls of schools.
When parents started speaking out about what they saw happening, the Left went as far as employing the FBI to silence parents who attended school board meetings.
The move to treat rightfully furious parents as domestic terrorists was justified in part by video of a father speaking angrily during a school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia shortly before he was arrested.
Why a hero Virgina dad went off
What the Left didn’t want Americans to know was exactly why Scott Thomas Smith was furious.
Smith’s daughter endured a violent sexual assault in her school bathroom at the hands of a boy who claimed to be transgendered.
Rather than deal with the aggressor, the school board sent the girl’s attacker to a different school where he assaulted yet another girl.
Smith was fighting obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct charges when Youngkin stepped in and issued a pardon.
“I want to thank Governor Youngkin for his declaration that I am innocent, and for his absolute and unconditional pardon,” Smith explained in a statement. “While I was extremely confident in my lawyers’ abilities to defend me in court, I am grateful that the Governor recognizes that our justice system has been both weaponized and politicized to the point where my ability to receive a fair trial was in jeopardy.”
In his pardon, Youngkin noted that Smith “has been publicly and falsely accused of ‘domestic terrorism’ and ‘hate crimes’ for attempting to advocate for his daughter, a victim of violent sexual assault.”
School superintendent reportedly knew the truth well before public denial
According to The Hill the Loudoun County School Board “faced significant backlash for its handling of the assault claim, after an email surfaced in 2021 revealing that Superintendent Scott Ziegler was aware of the assault claim a month before he denied having any knowledge of the claim.”
Those school board members remain in the hot seat as local voters have the option to replace all nine of them in this November’s election.
The board refused to release a report dealing with how the sexual assault case was handled, fueling the campaigns of several challengers.
“The trust has been broken,” one candidate, Viktoria Hunyadi, explained. “And it is because of lack of transparency. We must inform, must be informed when it comes to our children when it comes to the schools where we send our children for eight hours a day. I believe that moving forward it has to be an open communication.”
No doubt, nobody in charge now wants to explain exactly why they chose to go along with the woke mob with devastating consequences for young women in their care.
