Americans are sick of being forced to believe nonsense.

They get especially annoyed when corporations are pushing divisive social issues.

Now star gymnast Olivia Dunne has just posted one video that has all hell breaking loose.

LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne has arguably been the greatest beneficiary of the NCAA’s new NIL (name, image, and likeness) policy that allows amateur athletes to enter into marketing deals.

In the past, college athletes could not make any money based on the sports they were playing, which led to star players in football and basketball often getting paid under the table.

Queen of NIL

But now the money is flowing in, and Dunne has capitalized greatly.

She has over 10 million followers on social media, which has led to many marketing deals.

Her most recent deal was with embattled gym franchise Planet Fitness.

The company has been in the news recently because it allows biological males to enter into women’s locker rooms based on their so-called gender identity.

A female member complained about a man shaving in the women’s room, and Planet Fitness canceled her membership.

Since then, the company has received a deluge of backlash.

Planet Fitness is clearly hoping that Dunne’s popularity will stem the tide of membership cancellations.

Popular online account Libs of TikTok posted on Twitter, “This is Livvy Dunne, an NCAA gymnast with over 8 million followers on TikTok, who has partnered with Planet Fitness to promote new memberships. As we exposed yesterday, Planet Fitness also teamed up with country singer Tim McGraw.”

McGraw deleted the video where he promoted Planet Fitness after so many comments calling him out.

Libs of TikTok continued, “It appears they are getting desperate and are partnering with any influencer they can to promote sign-ups. Does Livvy know that while she’s in the women’s locker room at Planet Fitness, a man can just walk in and get n*ked in front of her? Why is she supporting this?”

Dunne has been uncontroversial up to this point, but she might have accidentally waded into a hot culture war issue.

Planet Fitness desperate

Thus far, Planet Fitness has stuck to its “woke” policy.

In light of the incident that set off the scandal, the company released in a statement,  “As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity. The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated.”

Corporations believe that there are no limits or consequences to their social agenda, but Bud Light found out the hard way that that is not true.

Planet Fitness Chief Financial Officer Tom Fitzgerald recently reported, “The first part of March was pretty good, and then once social media sort of blew up over our policy issue, we definitely saw a change in the results in the back half of March. Joins and cancels were fairly significantly affected. The good news is we’ve seen the joins rebound, but cancels have remained elevated.”

Planet Fitness is hoping McGraw and Dunne can lend them credibility.
