Most in the entertainment industry religiously bend the knee to the progressive Left, even if their views are anything but.
However, Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is a rare Hollywood Conservative who isn’t afraid to express his views.
And Sajak just borrowed a page from Rush Limbaugh to skewer liberals with three harsh words.
Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak took a page from Rush Limbaugh’s playbook. Limbaugh famously insisted on “illustrating absurdity by being absurd.”
Sajak had the perfect response to the Cancel Mob attempting to get Joe Rogan banned from Spotify.
“I’m pulling both ‘Sajak Sings Sinatra’ and ‘Pat Sajak’s Yodeling Favorites’ from Spotify,” Sajak wrote tongue-in-cheek on Twitter.
In the age of COVID, the Left is using health misinformation—as well as so-called 2020 election misinformation—as a pretext to silence counter-narrative voices.
That’s why podcaster Joe Rogan has come under relentless attack.
Rogan, who gets 11 million downloads per episode, had the gall to talk with doctors who challenge the orthodoxy of Dr. Anthony Fauci and the approved COVID ministers of truth.
For that reason, there has been a relentless push from leftists to have him booted off Spotify, which exclusively airs his show.
The efforts ramped up when folk rocker Neil Young demanded Spotify drop Rogan, or pull his music.
Young communicated through his manager:
“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines — potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them . . . They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.”
Other aging rockers like Joni Mitchell joined in on the censorship effort, but Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak had the perfect response to the Cancel Mob.
Sajak insisting he’ll pull “Sajak Sings Sinatra” and “Pat Sajak’s Yodeling Favorites” was a clear mock of the leftist movement to cancel Rogan.
Sajak has been open about his Conservative values, constantly needling the lunacy of the Left, using Rush Limbaugh’s tried-and-true technique of “illustrating absurdity . . .”
In 2017, after many celebrities said they would leave the country if Trump were elected president, Sajak tweeted:
“I wonder if the celebrities who moved out of the country will return for the demonstrations?”
In another tweet, Sajak took aim at the fake news media:
“Alexa, turn on CNN. I want to hear the news. ‘You’ll have to pick one or the other.’”
Sajak also called CNN the “Current Narrative Network.”
The censorship effort against Rogan is absurd and deserves to be mocked.
To Spotify’s credit, the streaming platform obliged Young’s wishes and pulled his music instead of dropping Rogan.
However, Spotify has made some concessions to the mob.
When the Left smells blood in the water, they continue to attack.
Spotify needs to hold the line and tell the censorship mad leftists to pound sand.
So many TV show hosts bend the knee to the progressive Left, but Sajak is a rare Hollywood Conservative who isn’t afraid to express his views.
More people in the entertainment industry should follow his example and speak their minds.
