The media and both parties’ establishments want to crucify him, and they’re about to drag him to Golgotha.
But this is how ex-Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville has responded to one deranged threat on his life.

Tuberville has refused to rubber-stamp military promotions so long as the Pentagon funds travel for abortions.

Tuberville has so deranged the Left, that former Deep State bigwig General Michael Hayden made a veiled threat on his life.
In response to the question: “Should Tommy Tuberville be removed from his committee?” Hayden wrote on Twitter, “How about the human race?”

Because Tuberville held up promotions, he should not only be removed from a Senate committee but the human race altogether, the post and Hayden’s response seemed to suggest.
. . . unborn babies
That is the level of derangement that many on the Left have reached.
In response to Hayden’s comments, Tuberville wrote in a statement, “This morning my office was made aware of a statement made by General Michael Hayden calling for a politically motivated assassination. This statement is disgusting and it is repugnant to everything we believe in as Americans. Given General Hayden’s long career in Washington, he must have known that, by making such a statement, he was committing a serious crime. His own efforts today to reinterpret what he said are only a tacit admission of guilty…If we still have a nonpolitical justice system in this country, then General Hayden will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. My office has reported this incident to the Capitol Police and I expect that they will once again do an excellent job protecting members of Congress and bringing criminals to justice.”
Per usual, Democrats were not forced to denounce Hayden.
If a Republican had said the same thing about a Democrat, every member of the GOP would’ve had a microphone in his or her face being asked to condemn the statement.
Tuberville continued, “I am not aware of a single Democrat member of Congress who has condemned this reckless statement. This deafening silence tells us everything we need to know about Democrats and their commitment to ‘Our Democracy.’ In fact, Democrats have only continued to attack me by name today. Sadly, General Hayden is just the latest in a long line of Washington Leftists who have engaged in reckless rhetoric against me over the past few months. This must stop and it must stop now.”
Is this the next step after ‘re-education camps’ that Hillary suggested?
Recently, Hillary Clinton called for “formal deprogramming” of Donald Trump supporters and only received mild pushback.
Tuberville concluded, “I am a conservative and a Republican, but above all, I am an American who cares about this country and is deeply concerned for its future. I am not a politician, and when I came to Washington, I did not expect to be popular among the clown show; but I certainly did not expect to be lied about on the Senate floor and threatened by former government officials like Michael Hayden. Anyone who actually cares about our country must go on the record and condemn his reckless statements.”
RINOs will erupt over this too
Establishment politicians in both parties have made clear they value funding foreign governments and major armaments merchants over that of American citizens from conception to the grave.
And sadly, a host of RINOs in the GOP will go to war with Tuberville over this even as many of them simultaneously swear up-and-down to the voters back home that they respect the lives of the unborn and military service members.
More and more voters can see through it.
And that’s why Tuberville went from having his life threatened by drunken college football fans, to having his life threatened by former top Deep State spooks.
One is definitely more concerning than the other.
