The establishment has turned Donald Trump into the archvillain of global politics.

He has been the target of unprecedented media and legal salvos.

And Elon Musk was appalled when he saw the D.C. Swamp’s latest attack on Trump.

During the 2016 GOP South Carolina Primary, Donald Trump shot to the top of the establishment’s enemies list when he told Jeb Bush on the debate stage that his brother lied the country into the Iraq War.

Questioning the D.C. foreign policy establishment is one of the third rails of American politics, and Trump jumped on it with both feet.

Six ways to Sunday

But before then-President-Elect Trump could even take office in January of 2017, current Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer warned Trump that the intelligence community had “six ways to Sunday to screw people” who cross them.

The seven years since have looked to many like a very public fulfillment of that threat.

And now they’re setting up a repeat of the opening salvo, in which Democrats impeached Trump for holding up military funding to Ukraine.

Ohio Senator JD Vance explained that the establishment is attempting to place an impeachment “time bomb” in a foreign aid funding bill to prevent Trump from stopping the billions of cash going into Ukraine.

Impeachment time bomb exposed

Vance drafted a memo that drew a provocative response from Elon Musk.

The Twitter owner tweeted, “This is insane” upon reading it.

Vance wrote in the memo, “President Trump has said, in regard to the war in Ukraine, “We gotta get that war settled and I’ll get it settled. He has stated that he would resolve the war in 24 hours. The bill includes $1.6 billion for foreign military financing in Ukraine, and $13.7 billion for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. These funds expire on September 30, 2025—nearly a year into the possible second term of President Trump. These are the exact same accounts President Trump was impeached for pausing in December 2019. Every single House Republican voted against this impeachment resolution. If President Trump were to withdraw from or pause financial support for the war in Ukraine in order to bring the conflict to a peaceful conclusion, ‘over the objections of career experts,’ it would amount to the same fake violation of budget law from the first impeachment, under markedly similar facts and circumstances.”

Permanent Washington has used media propaganda to sell the war in Ukraine as a top priority for America, which is outrageous.

Vance added, “Partisan Democrats would seize on the opportunity to impeach him once again. The Washington Post has reported that tying President Trump’s hands on foreign policy is very much top of mind for Biden administration officials, who are openly boasting about their plans. The background quote is damning…”

Vance referenced a Washington Post piece that reported, “Not incidentally, a U.S. official said, the hope is that the long-term promise — again assuming congressional buy-in — will also ‘future-proof’ aid for Ukraine against the possibility that former president Donald Trump wins his reelection bid.”

Even though the President is ultimately responsible for foreign policy, the establishment of both parties wants the Ukraine gravy train going, regardless of who occupies the White House.

That or they’re all living in fear of crossing the intelligence community that Schumer warned about.
