Elon Musk had Karine Jean-Pierre sputtering in rage after his latest move humiliated the White House

Very early into Elon Musk’s time running Twitter, users are already beginning to see changes on the social media platform.

Some of the changes are subtle – while others are glaring.

And Elon Musk had Karine Jean-Pierre sputtering in rage after his latest move humiliated the White House.

President Joe Biden’s top mouthpiece was left scrambling to cover his tracks because of one bold move by Musk.

Times they are a changin’

The woke mob is still freaking out over Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover.

They’re crying about firings – some that didn’t even actually happen – and all the changes that the world’s richest man promises to bring to the social media platform.

And while it’s not realistic to expect overnight change, less than a week after Musk officially became the “Chief Twit” users were already noticing some difference.

For one, now both sides of the political aisle are getting misinformation flags, instead of just the right.

Biden White House tried to claim credit for Social Security COLA increases that resulted from Bidenflation

In fact, even the White House has been fact-checked by Twitter in recent days.

The official Twitter account for the White House tried to spin the bad Biden economy in a tweet.

“Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership,” the White House tweeted.

Technically, that is 100% accurate, not a lie to be detected – except, perhaps, for the oxymoron that is “Biden’s leadership.”

However, the lack of context makes the tweet incredibly misleading.

Biden’s policies did “lead” to the increase.

But it was not out of his benevolence or because the economy is revving on all cylinders that Social Security payments increased.

Social Security payouts are directly linked to cost-of-living increases and inflation.

Under President Biden, inflation has soared at rates we haven’t witnessed in four-decades.

So, the largest Social Security increase in one-decade is to be expected – and certainly isn’t the badge of honor the Biden administration tried to make it out to be.

New Twitter wasn’t going to let Biden’s team try to pull a fast one on the American public.

They flagged the post and added context.

“Seniors will receive a large Social Security benefit increase due to annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on inflation rate,” the fact-check read. “President Nixon in 1972 signed into law automatic benefit adjustments tied to the consumer price index.”

The flag included a link citing the material.

There is an ongoing debate whether Twitter should be flagging anyone’s posts for supposed, “misinformation.”

However, for conservatives, it’s a nice change of pace to see the practice now being implemented on both sides.

Covering their tracks

The White House isn’t so happy about it.

As you can see in the video above, the White House deleted the tweet and then tried to cover their tracks.

White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, made an excuse about the tweet being posted before it was ready.

Then she spouted lies about “extreme MAGA Republicans,” trying to cut Social Security and Medicare benefits for seniors – which is a complete fabrication out of whole cloth.
