Joe Biden and the Democrats are going after their political adversaries one by one.
Donald Trump is the most obvious example of targeting.
And Elon Musk got hit by the Biden administration with one shocking attack.
Biden administration ensnares Elon Musk in a federal catch-22
Elon Musk put a bullseye on his back when he chose to buy Twitter and wrest it away from the establishment’s clutches.
The Biden administration seemingly attempted to block the sale and Musk taking control of the company with a line of ultimately futile FTC investigations.
Shortly after, Musk released the Twitter Files, which exposed collusion between the old Twitter regime and various alphabet agencies.
Now the Biden administration is suing Musk on the grounds that he discriminated against refugees and asylees.
Hire who?
The DOJ released in a statement, “The Justice Department filed a lawsuit today against Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) for discriminating against asylees and refugees in hiring. The lawsuit alleges that, from at least September 2018 to May 2022, SpaceX routinely discouraged asylees and refugees from applying and refused to hire or consider them, because of their citizenship status, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)…SpaceX discouraged asylees and refugees from applying for open positions, through public announcements, job applications and other online recruiting communications that excluded asylees and refugees. SpaceX failed to fairly consider applications submitted by asylees and refugees. SpaceX refused to hire qualified asylee and refugee applicants and repeatedly rejected asylee and refugee applicants because of their citizenship status. SpaceX hired only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, from September 2018 to September 2020.”
So Musk committed the “sin” of prioritizing American workers.
But there are other laws to the contrary
Musk’s decision was explained in a June 2020 tweet that read, “US law requires at least a green card to be hired at SpaceX, as rockets are considered advanced weapons technology.”
If Musk is correct, that means he was in violation of the law either way.
This federal Catch 22 was expounded upon in the book “Three Felonies a Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent.”
There are so many laws on the federal registry that a rogue DOJ can find something with which to charge a political target.
The DOJ added, “The United States seeks fair consideration and back pay for asylees and refugees who were deterred or denied employment at SpaceX due to the alleged discrimination. The United States also seeks civil penalties in an amount to be determined by the court and policy changes to ensure it complies with the INA’s nondiscrimination mandate going forward.”
If it’s not a case of controlled opposition, weary Americans suggest the DOJ’s pursuit of Musk has every appearance of a political hit job – and one done on infuriating grounds to boot.
