South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have always implemented a “take no prisoners” approach to comedy.
The comedy duo has poked fun of Republicans, Democrats, and celebrities of all shapes and stripes – including recently, the royals.
And now world’s richest man Elon Musk can’t stop laughing at South Park’s latest victim.
Come on down to South Park and meet some friends of mine
Since 1997, when their adult cartoon first aired, comedy animators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been making people laugh or cringe with nearly every episode of South Park.
The duo are equal-opportunity insulters.
Throughout the show’s 26 seasons and more than 320 episodes, South Park has made fun of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Michael Jackson, Matt Damon, Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, George Lucas, the entire state of New Jersey, both the Mormon Church and the supposed “church” of Scientology and so many more.
On a recent episode, South Park parodied the tabloid life of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
It was so hard-hitting, the royal couple threatened the show’s creators with lawsuits.
But that was nothing compared to South Park’s newest special episode – an episode that has elicited completely opposite reactions from Elon Musk and Disney.
From South Park to ‘the Panderverse’
Matt Stone and Trey Parker took off the gloves for their latest special, South Park: Joining the Panderverse.
No one is safe in the 47-minute special exclusively available on the Paramount Plus streaming platform.
The episode takes shots at AI, gender identity, the worth – or lack thereof – of a college education and billionaire social media platform owners.

However, the South Park gang’s biggest target in the show is Disney and one of its top executives, Kathleen Kennedy.
Kennedy is the President of Lucasfilm – owned by Disney Co.
As such, she’s overseen the destruction of the Star Wars franchise and was a producer for the new Indiana Jones flop earlier this year.
The Panderverse episode mocks Kennedy for her constant virtue signaling to woke social justice warriors in her movies.
A Kennedy character on the show believes everything can be made better by “putting a chick and making her gay” – a repeated line throughout the episode.
The special also features portions where all the main characters of the show are replaced by “diverse women.”
And the extra-long episode has sent shockwaves through social media and is already earning more than its fair share of fans – including Elon Musk.
Elon Musk vs. Disney
And one of those fans is Twitter owner, Elon Musk – despite the fact that Stone and Parker crack a few jokes at Musk’s expense in the special.

The world’s richest man has tweeted about the show multiple times.
In one of the tweets, as you can see above, he calls the episode a “bellwether.”
The Tesla founder also called the show “timely” in a separate tweet and gave the episode multiple laughing emojis.
In another tweet, Musk promoted the episode and utilized the praise hands emoji.
Only time will tell if Kennedy and Disney have as good of a sense of humor as Musk does.
Until then, perhaps the show will make Hollywood executives think a little longer before revisiting the lazy Panderverse.
