Devin Nunes said three words that show why maintaining access to independent news sources is more critical than ever

The powers that be are determined to maintain control of the narrative.

The latest moves to muzzle Donald Trump fully pulled back the curtain.

And now top Trump aide Devin Nunes admitted three words that show why maintaining access to independent news sources is more critical than ever.

Donald Trump is such an immense threat because he figured out how to sidestep the so-called mainstream media.

That’s why the establishment made another jaw-dropping move to stop Trump after the Democrats and Big Tech used January 6th as a pretext to summarily ban Donald Trump from all social media platforms at once.

The move was so shocking, even staunch Trump critics said the move was a dangerous form of censorship, highlighting the reason staying informed with independent voices like Unmuzzled News is so critical with the establishment overlords hellbent on censorship.

After getting banned, Trump decided to launch Truth Social, a competitor to Twitter and other leftist-controlled social media platforms.

But Truth Social is running into a problem that Parler faced: gatekeepers.

Parler suddenly became the most downloaded app in the world after Trump was banned, so the gatekeepers at Apple, Google, and Amazon conspired to kneecap them.

Apple and Google, which essentially control the entire smartphone market, kicked Parler off of their app stores, and Amazon yanked web hosting services from them with almost no warning.

The excuse for the banishment was insufficient content moderation, which is what Google is claiming now as a justification for blocking Truth Social from Android devices.

Axios reported that “Google hasn’t yet approved Truth Social’s Android app for distribution via its Play Store because of insufficient content moderation…Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes last week claimed the decision about when the app would be available on Android ‘is up to Google,’ but Google insists that the ball is in Truth Social’s court. ‘I don’t know what’s taking them so long,’” said Nunes.

Google said in a statement, “On Aug. 19, we notified Truth Social of several violations of standard policies in their current app submission and reiterated that having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of our terms of service for any app to go live on Google Play…Last week Truth Social wrote back acknowledging our feedback and saying that they are working on addressing these issues.”

Truth Social responded that it puts “sensitive content” labels on certain posts, but Google claimed that violence is not properly moderated.

However, the exact same claim could be made about Twitter.

Threats of violence from the Left aimed at conservatives is permissible on the platform.

Recent revelations about Big Tech prove that these major tech companies do not believe in the culture of free speech.

Such unvarnished Big Tech censorship is why maintaining access to independent information sources through email newsletters like Unmuzzled News are more critical than ever.
