Democrats are proposing a radical bill that would destroy the Supreme Court

The election of Joe Biden has Democrats salivating to enact every terrible policy from their wish list.

Their control of Congress might be short-lived, so they’re going for broke.

Now Democrats are proposing a radical bill that would destroy the Supreme Court.

Donald Trump warned the American people that the Democrats were itching to move to the hard Left.

Trump was right.

Congressional Democrats Ed Markey and Jerry Nadler introduced a bill to expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices.

Conservatives nominally hold a 6-3 advantage on the court – Chief Justice John Roberts has been far from a stalwart conservative – so the Democrats are eager to add four justices and accelerate their radical Big Government agenda.

During the 2020 election, Biden played coy on whether or not he would support action to pack the Supreme Court – he gave a mealy-mouthed answer about not wanting to distract from “more important” issues.

Biden struck an entirely different tone on the idea of court-packing when he was a Senator.

On multiple occasions, he torpedoed the idea.

In 1983, he said:

“President Roosevelt clearly had the right to send to the United States Senate and the United States Congress a proposal to pack the court. It was totally within his right to do that. He violated no law. He was legalistically, absolutely correct…But it was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make. And it put in question, if for an entire decade, the independence of the most significant body . . . in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of America.”

The corporate-controlled press encouraged the idea of adding justices to the court.

CNN and several other outlets argued that Republicans packed the court by simply appointing justices.

Merriam Webster even changed their definition of court-packing to dovetail with the Democrats’ newfangled definition of altering the ideological makeup of the court.

So far, Biden hasn’t shown great interest in the bill, but he could easily be moved if the Democrat Media Complex applies enough pressure.

Even the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg was against the idea of court-packing.

She, too, criticized Franklin Roosevelt when he tried to add six justices in order to cram through his New Deal policies.

The Democrats aren’t even putting up any pretenses of moderation.

They’ve become a radical party, so every bad idea is on the table.
