Apparently, someone in the entertainment industry still has a sense of humor.

Now, that’s led to David Chappelle scoring a major victory.

And cancel culture leftists are melting down.

Comedian David Chappelle is a regular thorn in the side leftists have been itching to completely cancel since 2017.

But the comedian is funny—and popular—enough Hollywood executives can’t quite bring themselves to shut down a celebrity responsible for bringing in a respectable amount of cash.

During episodes of The Closer, Chappelle has made comments driving the leftist community up the wall including concepts that wouldn’t have even been questioned a few years back like the idea that “gender is a fact.”

Another of his supposedly “controversial” claims includes pointing out that “’Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth. That is a fact.”

Chappelle Grammy win stuns woke Hollywood, after comedian refused to muzzle himself

He’s also taken heat for refusing to be muzzled by trans activists.

His show’s continued success has proven a massive challenge to the left’s radical activists who are determined to control culture through their access to Hollywood.

Activists have made Chappelle a cancel culture target repeatedly, but industry executives are more than happy to let his successful show keep paying the bills.

“We don’t allow titles on Netflix that are designed to incite hate or violence, and we don’t believe ‘The Closer’ crosses that line … Some people find the art of stand-up to be mean spirited but our members enjoy it, and it’s an important part of our content offering,” Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos wrote in a letter to employees according to a CNN report.

While Chappelle’s work only has a 40% approval rating by critics with 10 review on Rotten Tomatoes, the audience approval score clocks in at 95% with more than 5,000 ratings.

Now Hollywood news publications have a new reason to meltdown.

Chappelle won a 2023 Grammy Award for the best comedy album.

The backlash was instantaneous with The Hollywood Reporter announcing “Dave Chappelle Wins Grammy for Netflix Special Condemned for Being Transphobic.”

Daily Mail also took a swipe at Chappelle, then quickly moved on to point out that Beyonce not only gave a nod to her deceased gay uncle during the awards, but also thanked the queer community “for your love and for inventing this genre” apparently referring to dance music used in gay bars.

While the left is clearly unhappy with Chappelle’s success and would rather he follow in Beyonce’s steps going along to get along, it isn’t the first time the comedian has picked up an award.

This marks this fourth Grammy win.

He also has received six Emmy Awards and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2019.

No matter how much the left wants to bury him under politically correct nonsense, the funny guy isn’t going away.
