Democrats have always fought dirty, but their tactics have been particularly ugly in recent years.
The election of Donald Trump in 2016 gave Democrats an excuse to be as nasty as possible.
And Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is currently bearing the brunt of that left-wing vitriol.
DeSantis, along with other red state governors, exposed the Democrats’ hypocrisy on the border crisis by sending illegal aliens to “sanctuary” jurisdictions in Democrat strongholds.
Since then, the Democrat Media Complex has branded DeSantis cruel, and some went so far as to call him a human trafficker.
Leftists want to deluge DeSantis with litany of “lawfare” attacks
A rogue sheriff in Bexar County, Texas opened up a baseless criminal investigation into DeSantis sending illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts; the sheriff even admitted he could not find a statute that had been violated.
Then a left-wing advocacy group sued DeSantis on behalf of the migrants that were sent to Martha’s Vineyard.
Now it turns out that billionaire globalist George Soros funded the organization that filed the frivolous suit against DeSantis.
Fox News reported that “the activist group at the center of a class-action lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and other Florida officials for migrant flights to Martha’s Vineyard has received nearly $1.4 million from George Soros’ Open Society network. Lawyers for Civil Rights, a nonprofit immigrant advocacy group, filed the lawsuit on behalf of Alianza Americas, according to a press release Tuesday that described the latter group as ‘a network of migrant-led organizations supporting immigrants across the United States.’ Alianza Americas has received a total of $1,383,947 from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations between 2016 and 2020…”
Soros has his paws all over various left-wing groups that sit around all day and cook up ways to undermine American national sovereignty and anyone who dares fight back against the far-Left globalist agenda.
DeSantis made the global elite look like fools
The Left simply cannot stand that they were made to look like fools, which is partly why they’re going so hard at DeSantis.
The Lawyers for Civil Rights’ suit alleges that DeSantis “designed and executed a premeditated, fraudulent and illegal scheme centered on exploiting this vulnerability for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial and political interests.”
The illegal aliens were provided with meals, and they were given waivers in both English and Spanish explaining that they had the choice not to go to Martha’s Vineyard.
Democrats got beat by DeSantis, and now they’re licking their wounds by bringing out an army of lawyers.
