Bill Maher was once the darling of nearly every leftist in America.
But life comes at you fast and now the old-school liberal comedian has just guaranteed he’ll be ex-communicated by left-wing eggheads for good.
Because Maher just spit six words in a far-Left science god’s face that have all hell breaking loose.
Maher snapped when Neil deGrasse Tyson issued this outrageous complaint
Bill Maher is no lightweight when it comes to getting into verbal sparring matches.
But that didn’t stop Neil deGrasse Tyson from throwing down the gauntlet during an appearance on Maher’s show.
And Maher snapped when Neil deGrasse Tyson issued this outrageous complaint.
The astrophysicist is a celebrity in his field.
But he just failed Logic 101 by caving in to support the woke mob.
Then he compounded his error by taking Bill Maher to task over refusing to compromise his craft to accommodate the whims of leftist snowflakes.
Tyson was on Bill Maher’s show when he complained that the comedian has “abandoned college campuses.”
Maher fired back saying that “every comedian has…literally everyone.”
Tyson then challenged Maher to describe navigating this new woke reality as if he were a new comedian starting out in 2023.
“Would you just develop a whole other comedic repertoire that does not end up having people picket outside your thing? Are you just transposed and you’re not adjusting to the shifting terrain?” Tyson quizzed before placing the blame at Maher’s feet.
Always blaming those who dare speak up
“So, why is it their fault and not your fault?” Tyson asked Maher.
After some back and forth, Maher asked the scientist point blank, “Am I not woke enough for you?”
Tyson, who claims Maher was “good” in the 70s when he would “read the room,” claimed the comedian could surely find “a portfolio of jokes that would work on a college campus.”
“I would hope not,” Maher fired back. “Maybe some college campuses. The ones you read about are f****** insane.”
Tyson then threw gasoline on the fire by griping that Maher has “given up on an entire generation.”
“I have given up on any place that doesn’t even remotely attempt to believe in free speech,” Maher pointed out. Adding that it’s also a generation that “thinks that anything they hear that they don’t like, that they don’t agree with is violence.”
“These people are f****** nuts,” Maher went on addressing Tyson. “And you should be calling them out.”
Maher then lowered the boom on Tyson, insisting the pop scientist, as a celebrity who many kids look up to, is actually a big part of the problem.
“You’re doing what parents do – you’re taking the path of least resistance. And therefore, hurting the kids, and yourself,” the comedian ranted. “Parents ruin both their lives. They ruin their f***** spoiled kids lives, and they ruin their own lives if the kids rule the roost. So that’s what you’re doing on a national level.”
