“Sound of Freedom” was the surprise hit movie of the summer.
Now one of the men behind it could destroy more than just box office records.
That’s why Bill Clinton is sweating bullets after hearing this major announcement from the director of “Sound of Freedom.”
While Disney and other Hollywood studios put out flop-after-flop, the crowd-funded indie flick once owned by Disney has dominated at the box office.
The small, independent Angel Studios is responsible for one of the biggest box office surprises of the year.
“’Sound of Freedom’ is a true story film that exposes the darkness of child trafficking,” Angel Studios described the movie. “A federal agent saves a boy from traffickers, but his sister is still captive. He embarks on a dangerous mission, risking his life to free her from a fate worse than death.”
Vocal Christian actor Jim Caviezel plays FBI agent Tim Ballard, who believes “God’s children are not for sale.”
Critics of the film have called it a partisan political movie and conspiracy theory flick with far-Right extremists as its target audience.
The Left hates the “Sound of Freedom”
If it’s a good movie, with a positive message – why the hate from the Left?
History might suggest maybe they’re trying to protect the powerful.
Back in 2019, in a hot mic moment, ABC News anchor Amy Robach said the network axed her story about Jeffrey Epstein, implying the network caved to pressure from the British royal family and possibly others.
“We would not put it on the air. First of all, I was told, ‘Who’s Jeffrey Epstein? No one knows who that is. This is a stupid story.’ Then the palace found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us in a million different ways. We were so afraid that we wouldn’t be able to interview Kate and Will. That also quashed the story. It was unbelievable what we had. [Bill] Clinton — we had everything. I tried for three years to get it on to no avail and now it’s all coming out and it’s like these new revelations. And I freaking had all of it. I’m so pissed right now. Every day I get more and more pissed. What we had was unreal,” Robach stated.
Remember when ABC News anchor Amy Robach said the network killed her story on paedophile Jeffrey Epstein under pressure from the British royal family?

Is a sequel in the works?
Whatever the motivations for critics to dump on the film, audiences are loving it.
And for those who want a sequel, they may be in luck.
“Sound of Freedom” director Alejandro Monteverde announced there have been discussions of a follow-up film, during a recent interview with Variety.
“There’s definitely a lot of interest to exploring [the subject] a little deeper because this is just the tip of the iceberg,” Monteverde said. “There’s a lot of interest to kind of explore Haiti, what’s happening in Haiti. There’s [sequel] talks focusing on Haiti.”
Considering “Sound of Freedom” has earned about $175 million in a little over a month and on a relatively shoestring budget, a second film would make sense.
Trump got under Hillary’s skin with a Haitian “disgrace” remark about the Clintons’ activities in the island nation
However, if the story is about Haiti, then there is at least one prominent family in America that won’t want it to see the light of day.
For Bill and Hillary Clinton, the less attention paid to Haiti, the better.
Former President Donald Trump brought up what he called the Clintons’ “criminal enterprise” during the third Presidential debate against Hillary back in 2016.
“Take a look at Haiti.” Trump began “I was at a Little Haiti the other day in Florida. And I want to tell you, they hate the Clintons because what’s happened in Haiti with the Clinton Foundation is a disgrace.”
According to a BBC report at the time, Haitians were literally protesting outside the Clinton Foundation headquarters in New York City.
Why were the Haitians so mad at the Clintons?
Following a devastating 2010 earthquake, the Clintons became heavily involved in public efforts around fundraising for disaster relief.
The BBC report found the Clinton Foundation raised $30 million and made a lot of promises to the Haitian people.
However, very little of that money allegedly actually made it to Haiti amid a reported trail of broken promises.
That likely won’t be the plot of any potential “Sound of Freedom” sequel, but Bill and Hillary would probably want to memory-hole anything Haiti-related off the map.
