The Biden administration and Democrat elites think they control what everyone in the country is allowed to say.
But a top Democrat ally is piping up that they never saw coming.
Because Biden’s speech police just landed in hot water with this George Floyd attorney.
Joe Biden’s speech police are about to get slapped with a lawsuit from top Democrat ally — and George Floyd attorney — Benjamin Crump,
Crump has taken on several high-profile cases involving race, including leading the George Floyd family’s legal team.
That’s made him a big friend to Democrats over the years.
But now, he’s hit Joe Biden and the Democrats’ top speech police pals at Google with an accusation they never saw coming.
Google is arguably the most powerful company in human history.
Even more disturbing, Google has gone completely “woke.”
YouTube, which is owned by Google, constantly censors content from conservatives and counter-narrative liberals.
But now, Google itself is being accused of racism.
The Daily Mail reported that “a black woman from Baltimore who was hired by Google to increase their recruitment from historically black colleges sued the Silicon Valley giant on Friday accusing them of systemic racial bias. April Curley, 34, began working for Google in 2014 but was fired in September 2020…[S]he said managers at the search engine company actively thwarted [black employees’] career ambitions — steering them to lower-level jobs, paying them less and denying them opportunities to advance because of their race.”
Curley has retained the services of attorney Benjamin Crump, who has taken on several high-profile cases involving race, including leading the George Floyd family’s legal team.
Crump said, “While Google claims that they were looking to increase diversity, they were actually undervaluing, underpaying and mistreating their black employees.”
The Daily Mail added that Crump “has represented the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, among others. Curley has been active in denouncing Google on social media, accusing her managers of mocking her accent, saying it should be registered as a disability, and deliberately directing her away from promotions despite her qualifications.”
Google is in a tough spot of their own making.
If the allegations are true, it undercuts all of their lofty talk about being “diverse and inclusive.”
If the allegations are untrue, Google is not in a strong position to deny them.
According to the Left, denial of racism is only further proof of racism.
Leftist activists take on soft targets for a reason.
They know many liberal-institutions will fold to their demands quickly.
As the activists grow their numbers, they take on bigger targets and see if they can get them to fold.
Google certainly has the money and clout, but their reputation is on the line, and they could spur a “woke” revolt inside their own company.
That’s precisely why former Google engineer James Damore was fired.
He had the gall to submit an internal company memo—that was encouraged by his supervisors—which argued that men and women are different, and Google could employ certain strategies to attract more female talent.
Damore was quickly slandered as a “far-right” misogynist.
Google could get themselves in hot water if they don’t correctly respond to Curley’s accusations.
