Joe Biden has announced that he’s running again in 2024.
According to polls, most Democrats are not enthused by the news.
And Biden’s latest decree was too much even for one far-left Democrat.
The party bosses at the top of the Democrat Party are already making moves in smoke-filled back rooms.
The DNC cleared the field for Hillary Clinton in 2016 by conspiring against Bernie Sanders, much to the consternation of all the Bernie Bros.
In 2020, the “moderates” fell on their swords to forge a path for Joe Biden, and the party apparatus mobilized behind him.
Now the DNC is shutting down primary debates for 2024 because they do not want a fractured message, and they cannot afford to have Biden cracking under pressure.
Bernie Bro sees history about to repeat
The party politics was too much for far-left political commentator Cenk Uygur, who founded the news network The Young Turks.
Uygur wrote, “DNC has already announced that it will not allow any debates in 2024 primary. Biden is not to be challenged. Everyone on the Democratic side must shut up and fall in line. Not having debates is undemocratic and ridiculous. No progressive should agree to this kind of power grab.”
Uygur is one of the Bernie Bros. who flipped out when the nomination was effectively served up to Clinton on a silver platter after the DNC cut the knees out from under Bernie Sanders’ campaign.
Uygur was also the target of a Democrat establishment smear.
He ran for Katie Hill’s Congressional seat after her embarrassing “throuple” scandal broke out into the public and forced her out.
During the campaign, the New York Times ran an absurdly dishonest piece suggesting that Uygur agreed with KKK leader David Duke’s assessment that he was not a racist.
Uygur sarcastically said, “No, of course not,” but the “Paper of Record” intentionally stripped all context.
Anyone who challenges the establishment is a threat.
Other Democrats vying for the presidency were appalled by the decision made by the DNC.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said, “The DNC, at this point, has taken the official position that there will be no debate, and I think that’s unfortunate.”
Marianne Williamson, who unsuccessfully ran in 2020, said, “The DNC ‘plans no primary debates.’ As though there simply ARE no other candidates … no other ideas we should discuss about ways to win in 2024, or other ideas we should discuss about ways to repair the country. Too many people are too smart to accept this.”
The Democrats are already circling the wagons around Biden.
