Elon Musk made a lot of new enemies when he took a stand against “wokeness.”

And one of those enemies is in the White House.

Now Joe Biden is taking aim at Elon Musk for a terrifying reason.

Elon Musk said that he is on a crusade to defeat the “woke mind virus.”

Part of his plan was to purchase Twitter and turn it into a free speech platform again.

In doing so, Musk set off a chain of events that infuriated the corporate press and the establishment.

Musk’s acquisition of Twitter gave him access to all sorts of malfeasance and troubling collusion between Big Tech and the state.

The establishment made all sorts of moves against Musk, including launching a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigation into his purchase of the company.

Federal regulators demanded private communications from Musk

And it turns out that the FTC sought private communications from Musk as well as all of the journalists who got access to the Twitter Files, i.e. internal company documents that showed the inner workings of Twitter.

The Twitter Files illustrated a repeated pattern of government officials having direct access to higher-ups at the company, and the government was not bashful about “recommending” censorship.

The pretext for the Federal Trade Commission going after Musk was his decision to slash staff dramatically.

Musk making an executive decision to cull the herd within his own company allegedly threatened users’ private data, or so said the FTC.

Biden Trade Commissioners cited Twitter staff reductions to justify launching probe of Musk

It’s more likely the Biden administration just needed a way to go after Musk.

FTC spokesman Douglas Farrar said, “Protecting consumers’ privacy is exactly what the FTC is supposed to do,” and added that the agency is “conducting a rigorous investigation into Twitter’s compliance with a consent order that came into effect long before Mr. Musk purchased the company.”

Concern for others is always how the government makes an argument for more power and control.

In reality, Musk cutting his staff from 8,000 to 2,000 simply showed how bloated many of these Big Tech firms have become.

Following the first big wave of layoffs, an FTC official wrote to Twitter, “We are concerned these staff reductions impact Twitter’s ability to protect consumers’ information.”

Even if the government were concerned about protecting user data, the FTC does not need the private communications of Musk.

The government is clearly looking for any information to use as a weapon against Musk because he has become a nuisance to the establishment.
