They’ll do anything to get a leg up for the Midterm Elections.

Gas prices are one of the biggest political issues in the country heading into the Midterm Elections.
Since Joe Biden has occupied the Oval Office, gas prices have more than doubled.
Gas prices are hitting one record high after another with no relief in sight.
Even more pain at the pump is on the way with JPMorgan Chase analysts predicting gas prices will cross the once unthinkable $6 a gallon mark nationwide in August.
With gas prices a major political problem, Democrats are scrambling to contain the damage.
Illinois is famously one of the most corrupt states in the country.
Their hard hitting “Chicago style” of politics gave birth to the political career of Barack Obama.
The crooked Democrat machine that’s controlled the state for decades has been ruthless wielding the power of state government for their advantage.
Even in deep-blue Illinois, Democrats are worried about the Midterms.
Democrats there are using state government to boost their re-election chances in an unbelieve abuse of power.
In the dead of night, Illinois Democrats passed a bill that requires gas stations and grocery stores to effectively run free election-year advertising for them.
After Democrats suspended a 2-cent increase in the state’s gas tax, business owners will be forced to put stickers on pumps informing customers of this.
The stickers are required to say, “As of July 1, 2022, the State of Illinois has suspended the inflation adjustment to the motor fuel tax through December 31, 2022. The price on this pump should reflect the suspension of the tax increase.”
The bill also requires that grocery stores use a similar message on their receipts for a grocery tax suspension.
Bear in mind these aren’t even cuts, only temporary suspensions until after the November elections.
If business owners don’t comply with this Democrat political advertising, they’ll face $500 daily fines and potential criminal prosecution.
Politicians are known for their desperate stunts in election years.
But this is an outrageous abuse of power to force business owners to do political advertising for Democrats.
The same Democratic politicians passed a 19-cent gas tax increase giving Illinois the 2nd highest state gas taxes in the nation behind California.
Now in an election year they’re touting the gas tax not going up by a measly 2-cents hoping to get a boost.
Forcing businesses to display stickers is forced political speech, a clear violation of the First Amendment.
The Illinois Fuel and Retail Association (IFRA) sued the state over this egregious violation of businesses rights.
An Obama-appointed federal judge, Sue E. Myerscough, ruled against them with a laughable ruling that the signs weren’t political.
“Plaintiffs cite no case law or authority, binding or otherwise, to support their contention that the signage is political,” Myerscough wrote.
IFRA CEO Josh Sharp said the group was considering appealing the ruling.
Facing a tough Midterm, Democrats will go to any lengths to give themselves a leg up this fall.
But despite the Judges refusal to block the order, the IFRA also has a new plan that’s turning the tables on Democrats.
The order says they must include the language mandated by the Illinois legislature, but it doesn’t say they can’t include anything else.
So, they plan to show motorists exactly what the Democrats in charge in Illinois have done to increase their fuel prices.

Despite a federal judge approving the blue state Democrats’ totalitarian move, gas station owners surely have them infuriated with their move to turn the tables on Illinois Democrats.
